BJ's supermarket in Little India is one of the bigger food markets/grocery stores in the area.  Specializing in south asian fare, you can pretty much get all your south asian spices, veggies and rotis here.  Prices are comparable to the other shops in the area, some items are cheaper (ie. spices).

They also sell sweets at the front counter to get your Indian sweet fix.

Overall, the store is clean and well-stocked.  Definitely drop by to get your grocery shop on!

Came here to stock up on rotis (12 for 3.49, uncooked, you cook them at home on a skillet, they are awesome), mango puree, spinach puree and mustard leaves puree. The store's nice, clean, and surprisingly large.
The cashier was not chatty which I kind of liked. I asked her what's the difference between the various mango purees (some indicated different varieties of mangoes, I was trying to find a good one for lassis) and she just said "brands". Fair enough.

Clean store, with plenty of fresh produce.  Well organized with a wicked little Indian dessert section.

Prices are reasonable too.  We picked up about 10 desserts for less than $6.  Awesome!

I'm giving it 3 stars for cleanliness and for their dessert section.  I'm sure to update my review once I've returned and purchased more :)

One thing of note, there is a minumum $10 purchase in order to use debit, OR a $.30 surcharge.

You want unsalted butter? They carry Sealtest unsalted butter for $3, which is a couple bucks cheaper than most places. You want yummy and affordable Naan? You can get a pack of 10 for something like $4 - and it comes in 3 different flavours. They also carry Rubicon brand nectars (Pomegranate, Lychee, Mango and Guava) for $2-$3.

This is a clean, small supermarket with a little more produce than you might find in a convenience store that stocks produce, but less than other produce-only grocers in the area and No Frills, down the street. It's good for packaged goods and the Indian goodies (samosas, etc) up front.

Sometimes the lady up front working the cash is a little bit cold but if you catch her on a good day, she might smile.

A great small, clean and tidy Indian supermarket on Gerrard East.

The produce section is fresh and organized like a large chain grocery store yet the prices are competitive. Inexpensive dairy, breads, spices, dried legumes and a fairly good selection of Western food mixed in. I got a block of paneer for $3.50 which made me pretty happy.

There's a real community/friendly vibe in the store from the staff to even the patrons. This is my go-to grocery when I need to stock up on Indian ingredients and dried goods.
