Simply put, Bite Dental provides fantastic customer service, professional & friendly atmosphere, and great dental care.
Dr. Yeow is a great dentist, she takes time to have a conversation with you and you build a rapport quite quickly. She offers advice on many topics, even if you're curious. You never feel rushed to be the In-Out patient.
Sarina, the receptionist, is also very, very friendly. All staff as a whole definitely know how to run the business.
If you're a student, they'll apply a 10% discount on all services after your insurance.
The actual office is very efficient and looks to use the latest gear. Ceiling-mounted TVs with satellite, Xray machines digitally connected to a computer, your record file is integrated with their servers. I've checked, they're backed up nightly and are fully encrypted too! -

I suppose it's about time I updated this review. It's been over nine months since I first stepped in the door at Bite. I've often wanted to mark a business down a star after the initial novelty has worn off. With Bite, it's the converse. I wish I could add another one now that I've had months of treatment to judge thoroughly.
Everyone has continued to be ridiculously and genuinely friendly. I've continued to get appointments that I can actually attend without having to take time off work. I'm sure their opening hours aren't hugely conducive to a fun social life for all of them but I really appreciate being able to look after my teeth.
Reception staff, Sarina in particular, are always sweet and welcoming. Sarina tries to email me rather than phone if there is an issue because she knows I usually can't take calls in work. There generally aren't many issues though.
I can't commend Dr Rose enough. I've had nightmares about my teeth on multiple occasions and had my Irish dentist tearing his hair out. Dr Rose has somehow managed to stabilise everything and he did so calmly and easily. His work is truly excellent but he offers more than that. He will answer all my questions and plays along with my wish to know everything. He never speaks down to me and I feel involved. Not everyone can manage that! He also has a sense of humour which I think is a huge plus.
I've personally recommended him and the practice (my friends love Dr Yeow too) to my friends and their comment afterwards was that they could see why I was so happy. Even a colleague with a deep distrust of dentists had nothing to complain about. I'm so glad that I lucked out by opening wide at Bite!Listed in: Health and fitness (TO)

Meet the Business Owner: Joel R.
Dr. Joel Rose is a co-founder of Bite Dental. He was born in St. Thomas, Ontario and raised in Chatham, Ontario. Dr. Rose attended the University of Western Ontario, majoring in Chemistry and completed his dental education at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2002. Dr. Rose is an avid golfer, dabbling in competition at the provincial level. He also enjoys travelling and travel and landscape photography.
