Billy's News & Smoke Shop has been around forever. It's built up it's reputation as being THE place to go when you're looking for a rare or hard to come by magazine.
As my fellow Yelpers have mentioned, Billy's News & Smoke Shop has a most impressive selection of mags. Whether you're looking for bridal genres or rock & roll genres, Billy's has got a little something for everyone.
It's located right on 7th Ave along a whole slew of interesting shops. It's also conveniently located right on the train tracks so you can grab some reading material for your train ride home. -

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! (and look at pictures, too!)
Billy's News has an extra large selection of magazines for "hobbyists" of all stripes and types. No matter what you're in to, Billy's News more than likely has a magazine to suit you. Everything from general interest magazines to very tightly focused niche magazines. I had no idea that there were so many yachting enthusiasts in landlocked Calgary, but there you have it. And moreover, there you'll find it - at Billy's News, that is.
Billy's is perfectly situated along the C-Train line for all you weary commuters who'd rather thumb through a magazine than make the effort it takes to avoid eye contact with your fellow passengers.
Billy's News will afford you the perfect cover! -

Billy's News is a magazine lovers fantasy come true. Any obscure magazine that you're looking for you'll be able to find here.
There's also newspapers from countless different cities and snack foods to grab to eat while you read your favourite magazine. Chances are, you'll walk out of there with a few magazines you hadn't even heard of before.
This store is located on 7th Avenue, right along the c-train tracks, so it's easy to get to. -

There are about ten million magazines in Billy's News Shop (or at least it feels like it). There are so many magazines crammed in here, all on different subjects. It's a great way to get to know more about obscure facts. They have stuff on travel, all of the avant-garde fashion magazines, magazines on sports I've never even heard of... It's a very cool store. And very convenient, just off of the train tracks.
