Are you hungover having spent all your money on liquor the night before and need the cheapest, greasiest breakfast in town...well then this is the place for you!
The trucker breakfast is the way to go, for $3.95 you get 2 toast, 2 eggs, hash browns and meat. Sooo worth it, but if your not into greasy breakfast it's not for you. Their coffee is CHEAP, drinkable and unlimited which wins me over every time, I man a big diner coffee fan. They also have tons of other menu items, the pancakes and french toast and everything else was very reasonably priced.
The ambiance is old, trucker diner but that's my sorta think when I am hungover...ain't no one gonna be judging you here!
The location is a bit meh but if you drive it's not too far from central Burnaby or New West. -

My boyfriend has been wanting to take me here for a long time, especially because he has eaten here on and off for as long as he can remember. We went there on a whim after an early errand, and I had unfortunately eaten breakfast a bit earlier so wasn't all that hungry.
The portions were awesome for the price (trucker's breakfast), and the coffee was decent. Their hashbrowns were prepared my favourite way as well. I had my leftovers packed up and got to eat them a second time, thus ruining my appetite for dinner later!
Looking forward to coming back here.Listed in: Big Portions

Since I don't eat eggs most breakfast items are a moot point. What I really like about Big 6 is that I can get perogies instead. How about them perogies??? The perogie options comes with onions, sour cream and bacon but you can substitute the bacon for sausages for a minimal fee. My fiance normally has the Trucker's breakfast and loves it every time. He is the reason I even knew about this place as he's been coming here for years.
It's not the nicest place but it will do for a breakfast. It's a diner, not much else to elaborate on the decor lol. The staff are pretty good although they do forget about you sometimes. I will admit that I have never tried their coffee as I am weary of the watered down version.Listed in: Food, food & more food!, Take Away, Worst Washrooms, Breakfast

There are only two words you need to know about the Big Six: Trucker's Breakfast. Eggs, bacon, hashbrown, and toast - all the hangover-soaking grease you need - for under $4. Not the bestest best breakfast in the world, but if I don't have to cook it, I'm OK with it. The coffee is fine; they don't make lattes; but you may want to take a look at the cup before drinking, though.
This is an old, family-run greasy spoon in an utterly unexciting Burnaby neighbourhood. Everything about it is kinda of old, from the carpet to the clientele. But they've got vinyl booths and cheap food and friendly waitresses, making it a worthwhile breakfast destination. It's kinda got atmosphere. -

Cheap breakfast. It's not the prettiest place, not the newest place. But how many places offer a "trucker's breakfast." Ah, now I have your attention!
Big Six has all of your guilty breakfast desires. Load up on the bacon, sausage, eggs, and maple syrup-covered carb-delights. I left hear stuffed and unable to clean my plate. What a way to start the day. -

Yes! Finally somewhere that is close and super cheap.
I wanted a "trucker" breakfast at any time all day and that's what I got!
I found this restaurant on Yelp about a month ago, and I'm excited that I get to write a review. (side note)Yelp is great. :)
Parking is easy. Anywhere in front or behind.
The restaurant atmosphere is "trucker" all the way. Everything is old school. Don't come here unless you are like me. Love the good old days, and the good ol' boys.
The waitress' are really friendly. The main lady that usually serves me is great. My coffee doesn't go empty, and anything I ask for she is really nice about it.
The food for the price is MASSIVE. Again, that's for the price. I'm sure some BIG guys would finish and still be good to go. BUT, I can usually finish my food anywhere I eat and I could not finish here.
I usually get the trucker breakfast, BUT after the first time I get it with very easy potatoes. The breakfast is around $4, and the bottomless coffee is only $1.
WOW! Great for mid afternoon hang over.
