For a person that has not experienced a lot with Italian foods in a restaurant setting, I found myself here. At first glance it seems a little off key, but once entering the building I was quite impressed. The layout was  spacious and the lighting was perfect.

Service was ok, quick and courteous servants were on hand to answer your questions. The menu items were a little limited, had great Pasta dishes and a great Pizza list as well.

Prices were a an affordable level roughly costing about 55 dollars for 2, which included 2 beers, appetizer and 2 main dishes. Portions were excellent and not shy on toppings. Service was a little slow while waiting for main items, but was worth it.

This location is great to bring someone to start enjoying the taste of Italian.

I ordered the Alpi: Penne with Hot Italian sausage with grilled red hot peppers and the calamari(large portion).

Biago's is set in a beautiful stone-building with a magnificent setting. While the atmosphere screams fine dining, the food and service leave much to be desired.

The Caesar salad was overly dry, while the picante pizza had its moments, it seemed like they were trying too hard to make it Italian-styled, when it still tasting more North American.

The dinner menu items feature some promising items, such as the Penne pasta dishes (the milano grilled chicken with fettucine was good), it fell short of expectations. The service was also very unapologetically slow.

The sweet dolci dessert and the reasonable prices make Biago's tolerable, but there are definitely better options out there.

    Neighborhood comfort food!

The friendly service and great casual atmosphere with a wine list the Godfather himself would be happy with, this is a great restaurant to kick off the weekend.

My suggestion would be to try to order the specials of the day if you're ordering pasta, the ingredients are the freshest and always great together.  If you are a fan of the cream sauce pastas Biago's does it well.  Not overly creamy to over power the tastes of all the other vegetables and meats in the dish.  The Caesar salad is a great way to start off a meal, but should be shared as it is a large portion, as with most of their appetizers.

The bread is excellent and comes fresh out of the oven while not being shy on the rosemary.

Where pizza is concerned, (I am not a big fan of pizza), my fiance never orders anything but the Picante.

And for dessert try the tiramisu, it's great and surprisingly light -- perfect after a heavy Italian meal.
