I was actually quite pleased with this hotel. Best Westerns aren't known for being fancy, and while the room was very basic, it was a very comfortable stay. The rooms have free wi-fi, which is always a nice touch. It's only about a 10-minute walk to the Eglinton TTC station, and it's close to several great restaurants on Mt. Pleasant (see reviews for Viva Napoli, Positano and Il Gelatiere.) The hotel has a nice gym with several cardio machines, as well as a weights station.
I had the buffet breakfast a couple of mornings, and while it was nothing to write home about, it was decent. I would recommend staying away from the hot items, as the eggs are pretty bland and the bacon was far from crispy, but the cereal, pastry, fruit and yogurt selection was pretty good. Great service in the hotel restaurant as well.
