    One of the worst customer service experiences ever! (Side note - I never actually stayed here, but I NEVER will)

    I booked this hotel via http://booking.com. The website claimed there was $0 cancellation fee as long as I canceled within 48 hours of my booking.

    I ended up canceling 3 days prior and received a confirmation mail that I would not be charged. Within 5 minutes, my phone rang. It was the HOTEL reception calling to tell me that I will be charged the full amount for the room. After arguing with the receptionist that I was not required to pay a dime as I had canceled in time, I was rudely told that I would be charged and was hung up on.

    I rang http://booking.com immediately who said they would call the hotel and sort it out. The hotel still went ahead and charged me. I had to get the booking website involved and have them reimburse me (which they did, with no complaints).

    I'm appalled that this place would try to rip me off. They weren't even fully booked on the night I canceled, they were just being greedy. Rude and greedy.
