I am on a quest to find good pizzeria / take out food in Surrey. It's been a rocky road with many calories consumed.
Bertolucci's has been my sister's favourite for a while, but I haven't tried it for some time. Yesterday, I was down in South Surrey doing some shopping and thought I'd pick up a couple of their special pizza items.
Two pizzas, ~$25 or so in Medium.
They clearly do a better job with toppings, sauce, and crust than most other 'local' / chain pizza joints. It's not gourmet, but for family fare it's quite good. Their Tropical Hawaiian was very nicely done, but I found the Greek pizza to be a bit salty -- probably due to the meat they use and the fact that the feta is, of course, a brined cheese.
Bertolucci's is thus far the best pizza I've had in Surrey. It's thick, fairly loaded with toppings, and I don't feel like I'm eating cardboard.
Well worth a second visit.
