Hollyfields is a lovely escape into a world of whimsical gardens and beautiful home decor. One thing that really stood out for me was that it smelled great! You'll find wind chimes, fountains, statues, seeds, bird cages, bird's nests, vases, and lots more. The shop also has a cat in residence.

If you are meandering Granville Island, you might enjoy a wander into Hollyfields Home and Garden. It's a large-ish store filled with assorted and eclectic pieces of loveliness and whimsy. You will find, of course, many things related to garden needs here: pots, trowels, garden gloves, along with more decor related items for both home and garden. They have some truly original and witty pieces here; I got a kick of the smaller-than-life-sized "Thinker" (Rodin's that is) that you could put in your garden, and I also enjoyed rummaging through the drawers and cubbies of hardware including things like uniquely shaped doorknobs and lyrical hooks to mount on your walls. This is a great place to look for a gift or for some creative decoration for your own home.
