Despite having a special Ironman menu (which featured way more cheese, mayo, and white bread than more triathletes would ever consume) the Bellevue seemed entirely unprepared for the rush of people in Penticton over Ironman weekend.
Staff were grumpy about making modifications (like excluding cheese from a sandwich) and impatient with customers. We had a long wait for a tuna melt and a wrap and then an even longer one for the sandwich when it turned out they had run out of both bagels and turkey.
The food was mediocre and certainly not worth the wait. We initially chose the Bellevue over neighbouring Fibonacci Cafe because we thought it would be faster... we would have been way happier going to Fibonacci's and would have been done eating sooner.
