Really like the atmosphere and home-comfortable, esp. if you get the booth seating by the window.  It's a bit of a smaller place, amazing they can even squeeze in that piano, they have a singer just on weekends i believe.  think it's a great joint in the area of point grey.  for its nicer decor for itallian, prices are reasonable.

Ordered the generous salami, pepperoni, onions, green peppers pizza, it's pretty good, use a brick oven.

Also the tomato sauce sphagetti with meat balls was tasty too.

It's one of the better 'higher-end casual' places in the area.

So, wandering around neighbourhood, i stumbled upon this little 'Gem'. After being enticed by the 'best Italian food in Vancouver' sign I took a table and gave it a go. The server was good, just seemed very concerned about looking proficient to the boss. I hate noticing that servers are intimidated by the manager/owner, maybe I'm too empathetic. Biggest off put were the prices VS quality.
Definitely not the best Italian food i have had. This was a more 'if we have an Italian looking place and menu, we can hit a niche market' kind of place. That atmosphere bugs me when the food doesn't match.
Beer selection was uninspired (Granville island) and expensive at $6 for an under poured sleeve. Salad was something I would have expected at Dennies, Pizza was OK, but pricey. The pasta didn't taste fresh and mine was oily, a disappointment for again, for the price.
It was later in the evening and being an open kitchen I could see the chef chopping away and busily making a curry. I presume this was for dinner after close. Well that smelt fantastic.
Over bearing management, mediocre food and high prices. Wont be heading back any time soon.

This is a cute little Italian place and pizzeria that is apparently fairly new.  We found this place while visiting from Arizona on vacation.  We came for dinner after a long day of driving to and from Whistler.  This place will definitely succeed.  The food and service were excellent.  I had a seafood linguini dish (cannot remember the name of it.)  The seafood was very  good and the pasta was cooked just right.  My wife had the chicken parm and it was also excellent.

This is a great little place for an intimate meal.  We highly recommend.

Very good for a local eatery. I really enjoyed the special - Lobster ravioli with gorgonzola cheese in a cream sauce. Pasta was made on location nd the ingredients seemed fresh. Salad wasn't awesome - a bit banal. The decor was a bit phunky (and not in a good way). I wanted to personally clear the bottles of strange colored liquid and withering plants from the windowsill, but the warm staff and really good main dishes made up for it.  There was live piano music - which seemed old school, but was fun. Worth a try.

If I could give no stars, I would. But perhaps it deserves one star for the tiny little patio out back. Service was laughably horrible - the server did not know what beers they had on tap, went to check, came back and said "Granville Island or pale ale" ... umm? Beer prices (not on the menu): $6 each for a glass, not even a pint. Server did not know any menu item names, I had to point with my finger and spell "caprese" while he painfully wrote each of the two things we ordered onto his notepad. Caprese salad had inexplicable lettuce and capers in it. Pizza was pretty flavourless. We had to ask for cutlery, then for water. Server could not be found for water refills, nor for the bill. We will certainly not be returning.
