This campground is great if you plan ahead and reserve the right spot. We called up a week ahead of our trip and fortunately someone had canceled last minute, but it was a small spot right next to another site. The last night we were there we were able to grab a spot on the beach and that was awesome.
All the spots are walking distance to the beach. It was mostly a quiet campground, there was some rowdiness. The showers are pay showers, I think I was able to shower for $3. It's about 7min drive to downtown Tofino, so it's not too far away. Tofino is a very small town, though they do have a grocery store and a liquor store. They have a market on Saturday mornings that's nice too.
