Ok so I stumbled upon this place...upon not in..lol...and well it was huge first of all and staff everywhere. Service is great and well we had the buffet. What a great selection...its all there. Wonton soup...yes please...sweet bourbon chicken, dont mind if I do....the meat was tender and the rice fried just right. I love going in to a place and having those place mats that tell you your birthday personality. Great for a conversation piece. It costed like 12-13 per person but I ate my share two times over.
The location isnt that good if your a Southie but otherwise good. The North cinemas are righ there too and Im quite confident I saw a movie deal. Worth it. -

Nothing overly amazing about the buffet food here but it is really good and there is a lot to choose from. The service was good and the dinning room is ginormous!! I think it would be a great place to take a large group of people. It seemed pretty clean, at least from what I could tell, which is important to me when it comes to buffet style dinning. I happen to be a very small person so buffets are usually lost on me but the prices here are reasonable so it's not too bad. I would definitely be back here if I was in the neighborhood.

after coming out of the cinema we decided to finally try this place. The food was hot, tasty and plenty of choice, from soup to battered shrimp, ginger beef, mussels and dessert. for the price it was excellent. 2 of us inc 2 orange juices and generous tip $50. take out at our local Chinese costs us $40 before tip so we are now swopping allegiance.

This is great place if you like Americanized Chinese food (my favorite kind) - they even have onion rings! Bacically they have everything you would want and for a decent price. I can't count the number of times I have revisited this place. Its also a great place to take the office or a group as they have a little bit of everything and can accomodate vegetarians.

Have you ever been in that one position...
Thinking to yourself...
"Self...what do we eat?"
Then you look to your right and you see your little sister and ask her...
"So what do you feel like eatting? On me?'
Ok...not eatting on me literally for you dirty thinkers.
I asked her "Chinese?" She nods her head. So we come across this place around the north end of Edmonton just off of 137 Ave.
We walk inside and we smelled the beautiful aroma of chinese food..mmmmmm. So we decided to sit and we see BUFFET. Which is good we don't have to fight over anything on the menu or what we like or don't like. So we head off to get some food...you know your usual ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, noodles, won ton soup, mixed vegtables, deep fried shrimp, chicken balls, chicken wings, etc....oh and a salad bar and dessert bar.
Yes this place was good for the hunger strike. Plus it was walking distance to the theatre. Price is not to bad. Don't look to find anything unqiue in the dishes, its more of a Western Chinese food place. I wouldn't expect them serve anything uniquely asian.
Don't get me wrong, nice place. Convenient. -

I stopped in here on Halloween night to grab a bite to eat before the late show. I was hungry and didn't want to eat at a formal restaurant because I didn't have much time so I figured a buffet would be a good plan. I wasn't even offered a menu and wasn't aware they even had one until I'd already filled my plate. Oh well. It wasn't too busy and the food was still decent - the spring rolls especially.
As I was munching away, my server brought me a small plate with what she called BBQ steak. It must've been very tenderized because it wasn't what I would normally call a steak. Nonetheless it tasted really good. It was a nice surprise.
I found it a bit pricey for a Chinese buffet. Still the service was good and the food decent and I made the movie in plenty of time. -

Great food at a great price! When visiting here, also visit Manila Bay, which is a Filipino restaurant next to Beijing. It's under the same roof, just off to the side. The Filipino cuisine was amazing!!!

There's not much to say about this place. My coworkers and I go there for their lunch buffet. $12 with tip. It's not as grandiose as the Mandarin but decent. The only problem I have is their dessert. Canned fruit, cookies and honeydew melon. That's it. I don't know if their dinner is larger but it'll do.
