Very professional. They gave me a lot of information about my rug, and were very meticulous about making sure I understood how it would be cleaned, any risks involved, etc. They did a great job and the rug looks fantastic. Good work and great customer service.
They also have an aviary on the roof and will let you feed the birds. They seem to really enjoy their work. You don't often find this kind of single proprietorship where the owner takes an interest in each customer, even for a small job like mine. -

We were extremely satisfied customers after the first time we used Benham in 2007, therefore used them again in 10/2011. We had to have a rush job on 5 oriental rugs do to hosting several events. Our carpets are well-used in a home of 4 dogs, and a creek property with a family of 4 bringing in a lot of outside dirt and plant material. Not only did they return my rugs 2 days early, ( which really helped out a lot), but they were exceptionally clean and soft from deep conditioning. A corner stain that had been on it for awhile was completely removed. The owner, Ben, has always been very personally involved, is truthful, and very fair-priced for the quality of work. My rugs look and smell brand new. The personel that picked up the rugs were extremely careful, navigating around many glass peices. Highly recommend!

Your rug will be in the most perfect condition after it has been treated by our specialist in house at Behnam Rugs. After your rug is cleaned and inspected, we will let your rug dry naturally, and once services is complete, we will deliver and install your rug free of charge (Free Pick Up and Delivery).
History
Established in 1978
Since 1978, The Persian Rug Cleaner's rug gallery has been in the business of selling, both retail and wholesale, fine handmade rugs as well as expert cleaning, repair and restoration. The Tavakolian brothers came to the United States in 1970 to pursue their higher education. This completed, the brothers decided to carry on their traditional family business of importing and exporting handmade rugs. They chose Dallas, Texas as their headquarters because of the tremendous growth this area was experiencing. Initially, the brothers directly imported rugs from Iran (Persia), and then expanded their import and manufacturing business to India, China, Pakistan and Romania due to the wide variety of colors, designs and grades of quality found in these countries. Then and now, their goal was to provide outstanding selection and service to their customers in a true full service rug center.
Meet the Business Owner: Behnam T.
In 1999, Behnam Tavakolian moved one block north on Preston road, when he designed and built a distinctive Mediterranean-style 15,000 square foot showroom/service center from the ground up. The showroom was designed to utilize as much natural light as possible as it showcases beautiful antique and new rugs from around the world. It is a source to interior designers, architects, and homeowners who have come to appreciate the unparalleled selection. Adjacent to the showroom is their state of the art, 100% hand wash rug cleaning facility, along with a repair and restoration section.
