Review from Skylar L.
Behind the Grind is the closest thing Whistler has to a hippie coffee house. It could as easily (probably more so) have popped up in Santa Cruz as catty-corner to the Whistler gondola. You're going to pay a little more for the coffee and coffee house fare (which includes full on meals)than your used to, but it's on par with the rest of Whistler pricing.
If you have young children with you, this is a great family friendly apree place. I believe they sell beer, but it's nothing close to a bar. After a hard day of ski school, all kids deserve a large hot chocolate with extra whipped cream. Who am I kidding? Everyone deserve an large hot chocolate with extra whipped cream after spending the day shredding Whistler.
It's hit or miss with the folky singers who entertain during apree.Listed in: Whistler Eats
