Review from Isabelle G.

I wasn't in the market for bedding and was just browsing and enjoying the sunny Saturday afternoon. What attracted me from the window was the neatly organized color spectrum of sheets, pillow cases and other bedding needs. Very well organized, clean and appealing store front.
They appeal is that they specialize in solid colors in every shade. If you want pink....choose from 6 shades.
The simplistic basic colors combined with the organization of the items makes it easy for the interior bedroom decorator.
This also helps for those of us whom aren't decorators whom just want to go in and out and get what you need.
Items are locally made and hand dyed. I found their prices to be reasonable, same as The Bay if not cheaper...and you're support local. -

I have never bought any bedding from Bed but I do stop in every time that I am shopping on 4th Ave....
My favorite part is the smell when you first enter..it's nothing to do with the bedding..they sell some soap from somewhere on Vancouver Island...it smells like licorice..yummer...I buy some of the soap on each stop..
Anyway...back to the bedding...they sell a great selection of duvet covers..every pattern or color you may want...from neon pink to baby blue..floral to damask...flannel or 100% cotton..they have some of the best in the city to choose from! -

Quality, great choices and colors and the sheets hold up in the wash.
i have been buying from them for years......(I doubt the owners even know it).
"a must visit" when in Vancouver.

I'm a working girl, so I truly value the time I spend in bed. I recently upped the bedtime anti by purchasing a brand-new, top-of-the-line queen-sized bed for myself. It wasn't a cheap investment, but it was worth every penny.
Because my bed means so much to me, I love dressing it up in colourful, cozy, care-easy covers. Like the ones sold at Bed on 4th Avenue, which carries affordable, mix-and-match bedding in every shade imaginable, plus a kaleidoscope of funky prints.
Bed's got the entire range of linens covered, so it's a one-stop shopping experience. The range of duvet covers, sheets (flat and fitted), bed skirts, and pillowcases are part of a cotton basics line that comes in a lush spectrum of solid colours (50 shades!). And Bed's patterned linen is bold and vibrant, with floral and foliage designs, retro-inspired graphic prints, paisleys and filigree patterns, and seasonal offerings. Bed also sells hypoallergenic pillows and duvets.
Bedding comes in standard single, double, queen, and king sizes. All the linens are 100 percent preshrunk cotton, machine washable and dryable, and proudly sewn in Canada.Listed in: Give Good Gift!

I'll share a little secret with you.... I have been to Bed with my friend Jen (snicker)... I have been to Bed with a group of friends, all at the same time (snicker).... I have even been to Bed alone! awwww that joke never gets old!
Whether your looking for scrub, peacock, neon, indigo, pool, sailor, slate, sky blue, baby blue, lilac, lavender, ultra violet, plum, mist, rhino, coal, turquoise, apple, spearmint, moss, bamboo, sage, fern,le af,sprout, chartreuse
,army,unbleached,dune,cork,taupe,chocolate, melon,butter,Caribbean sun
,atomic,antique gold,terra cotta,safety,pumpkin,orange,lipstick,fuschia
,burgundy,grape,flamingo,pink,rosebud.... and yes even black! .. then this is the place for you to go.
the first time I went in I could not believe the assortment of colours that you could put on your bed. If your a thread count snob then perhaps you should go else wear because you may find their 100% preshrunk cotton muslin a bit to "rustic" for you. Let me guarantee you tho after a few washes these sheet will be broken in like an old baseball mit!
They mainly deal in solids but over the last little while as the "pattern" has become hot with popular culture they have broadened their horizons and have begun to dabble in some interesting patterns.
Oh and one more thing.. thumbs up on the window display, always eye catching! -

There seem to be more than an average amount of reviews from browsers, and I'll chime in. I've always wanted to shop here and I really love prints, patterns and colours but everything ends up feeling too feminine for me.
I was excited to see a "Menswear Inspired" tab on their page recently and I hate to say it but they were a bit insipid & uninspired. Light beige, basic brown plaid..nothing bold or elegant like they offer in their huge collection.
You have to hand it to them, I love that there's a local company making a reasonably priced product in such a variety that you can basically change the feel of your bedroom with one purchase, and the breadth of options is incredible.
Hopefully the next round of Menswear Inspired duvets are warmer & more inspiring.
I'd also love to see some organic choices. Dream Designs is currently our go-to place for bedding but I know Bed can deliver colour and design. -

It has come to my attention that although we added a memory-foam mattress pad to our queen-sized bed, (which trust me, makes it far superior!) there is still something left to be desired....like duvet covers and sheets and pillows in fabulous prints and colours and 100 percent cotton fibres! If I had my way I would redecorate my bedroom every time I had a whim, but with budgets as they are these days, its best to invest in something that you can both agree upon and a design that makes everyone feel Zen. Bed carries an assortment of interesting, bold and understated patterns and colours in sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases. They also carry corduroy cotton duvet covers that get softer with every wash. This Canadian product is made of 100% cotton and nothing more, allowing for a peaceful sleep with no concern of mystery fabrics....all at affordable prices!

I've never been bed shopping in Bed, but I have been bed accessory shopping in Bed (and not just in my dreams!). No matter your colour scheme, you will find what you are looking for in the way of linens if you come to Bed. They carry a very full line of duvet covers, sheets, comforters, pillows and cases, the whole works in every colour you could dream of...so dream away, and your dreams just might come true...in Bed!
