It's been about 2 weeks since my last visit to Bed, Bath & Beyond, and I need my fix! If heroin addicts were addicted to household items, this would be their first stop. This place is like Walmart for home decor. It's awesome and frightening.
Stores that sell home decor and other such household items are not hard to find. Some places specialize in niche items, other places focus on selling inexpensive items, and Bed, Bath & Beyond does it all. They are like the ToysRUs for adults. Every time I visit this place, I come out with a list of 50-60 things I want to buy. It's probably a good thing I'm not filthy rich, or else I'd probably have my own store.
Aside from being massive, Bed, Bath & Beyond is also reasonably priced. This is important, as I've visited countless stores only to find the same item at Walmart for less than half the price. They definitely compete, and in some cases beat, other stores who sell the same items. The only problem I have is that despite trying, I have yet to find the Beyond section. -

Bed, Bath & Beyond is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. It's got something for every area of your house... the bedroom, the bathroom, and beyond!
I was so excited for this stores Grand Opening, I could barely contain it. I get a strange satisfaction from shopping for household items and this place definitely satisfied my craving! It was like walking into a dream space. I mean yes, I've been to places like this before, but it was the fact that I hadn't been to this location. You can imagine how happy I was when it finally opened.
I went in not expecting to actually buy anything, but left with a couple bags full of stuff. Since they are celebrating the opening of the store, everything is wickedly priced and there are so many sales and discounts. I hope the low prices last for a long time.
What makes this store a little different from other home stores is the set-up and lay-out. They make it easy to find exactly what you're looking for, but have plenty of salespeople about to help if you need it. They even have a section dedicated to Fine Tabletop and a Giftware department too.
I couldn't be happier that this place finally opened. I'll probably be making weekly visits... just to see if they have anything new (or on sale)!
