This is an awesome place to grab a coffee or bite to eat if you are at the Misericordia Hospital. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays only. It's run by volunteers and is non profit. The money all goes back into the hospital. The food is really good. They have different specials all the time and the standards are always good to fall back on. The prices are awesome! They generally have a selection of sandwiches, varying desserts, always have fresh coffee.

The staff here are great. They're working there because they want to be. It totally shows! It's a popular stop for hospital staff, patients and visitors.

I was visiting a friend at the hospital and was in the need for some coffee. I stopped here and didn't expect much but the coffee was really good. It was fresh and delicious. Maybe I was so blown away cause I expected the worst but it makes me want to just stop by just so I can get more.

They also serve food, like burgers and sandwiches. I had an omelette and it wasn't bad at all. The coffee is worth going back though. I am still in disbelief by how impressed I was.

Being in a hospital is no fun, but at least a place like the Beau Geste makes stopping by the Misericordia a little more tolerable.  There is a short order menu with omelettes, burgers, sandwiches, and other small items on week days. Prices are really reasonable, and the service is very friendly because the people "working" here are actually volunteers. The food quality is quite good -- I had chicken fingers with fries here once, and it was on par with anything I have ordered at a fast food restaurant. I also had a late breakfast which was made fresh right in front of me. There are large tables where I was able to sit and do some work while I waited to pick up my father from day surgery.  Beau Geste makes a dreary time in the hospital a little brighter.
