OOOOOHHH man this place
i am the kinda person that loves waking up slowly reading/doing work while sipping a cup of coffee in the morning. and Bean UBC is the perfect place on campus for this. during exam period, i walk for a good 15 mins just to start my days right at this place. totally loved it. the coffee could be a lil pricey but the staffs are so friendly they even lemme stay for the whole day to study lol. my fav coffee here so far is the raspberry mocha. please give it a try ;) oh and the music's really chill and relaxing too! -

In a somewhat obscure area of UBC campus, Bean Around the World is the best you can get. Coffee that's better than the nearby Starbucks, good, fresh sandwiches, plus beer! It can get crowded at lunch during the week, full of students with their MacBooks and iPads out... many aren't bad to look at, so not to worry!
Solid service, solid coffee, a consistently welcoming respite during the workday.
