Bean Town is a quiet, family run coffee shop. I love coming in here for a couple hours while I wait for my kid in day care. In addition to coffee, they also serve sandwiches, soup, and baked goods.
I love their Hedgehog Mocha, it's less sweet than the mochas at Starbucks.
Best part about Bean Town: it's near Carson Books, so buy a book, grab a coffee, and enjoy! -

A perfect little family run coffee shop on Dunbar Street. Great, fresh homemade pastries and baked goods to snack on while you enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee, morning or afternoon.
Bean Town's not open very late, but it does provide a nice, relaxing atmosphere to sit with friends and chat, read a book, or just enjoy a steaming cuppa. -

As far as coffee houses go, it doesn't get better than this. Great coffee, good selection of snacks, friendly staff, and there is a revolving door of regulars known by name who can order "the usual". Great place to sit and read and relax.

I love this place. Grew up just around the corner and still come here with my dad for lunch. Great food, awesome staff, and their soy latte doesn't want to make me barf. :) When this place exists, why would anyone go to Starbucks down the street? I love the ever changing local artwork for sale displayed on the wall.

Great Place Different Owners over the years and both are very personable and friendly! Staff always in a great mood and great drinks... Prefer this place anyday over Starbucks :)

Friendly staff. Horrible soy milk (it felt like my mouth had been coated in oil after my first sip). Meh coffee. After reading the other reviews, I had to double check that they were talking about the same place (they were).
