This is a hidden gem in the beach.  We come here for breakfast all the time and have never been disappointed.   The food is fresh, the service is great and the prices are very reasonable for what you get.  If you order fruit as your side instead of the home fries, it's fresh fruit which is a plus.  It's also a kid friendly restaurant.  You can sit in the back, where there's lots of space, and they always have high chairs available.  Another bonus is the tv in the back area where they'll play treehouse shows for kids.  Definitely makes dining with kids a little easier and you can actually finish your meal while they are occupied before they get restless.  Owner is friendly and the waitstaff are really nice.  Best place for breakfast in the beach hands down.

I love Breakfast. I love brunch. I love crispy bacon crunch.
Tried the Beachside Grill for the first time the other day. Being just a short walk from home is super convenient.
We needed food, we needed it to be quick. The eggs were cooked perfect, i like over medium not to runny. Mmmmm for rye toast! and the bacon was nice and crispy. Plus they don't skimp on the bacon! There were at least 4 big pieces. The hash browns/potatoes were really good too! The potatoes are a deal breaker for me usually. I love potatoes!! They were seasoned nicely and soft with some crisp to them. Perfect. Really yummy breakfast!

I just frequented the Beachside Grill last week for the first time, and was definitely surprised at the range of choice.

They had everything from classic panini sandwiches, to souvalaki to an all day eggs benny.  It was definitely the availability of the eggs benny that threw me for a loop, as even traditional breakfast places don't always include it as a staple.  To be able to get a smoked salmon eggs benny at three in the afternoon on a Wednesday was remarkable and scored some definite brownie points.

Overall the service was pleasant, quick and enjoyable, nothing spectacular, but par for the course in a place of this category.  I will definitely be back at some point.

This bright (seated in the window) friendly establishment is no secret in the beach.  It has good food, generous portions and reasonable prices.  The service is friendly, too.

Breakfast was well prepared and tasty, and their whole wheat toast is above average (but their rye, perhaps, below).  My accomplices were very happy with the bacon.  A tasty, generous (4 slices) portion.

I've previously had the omelets which are very good, and huge!  They are also made in a pan, rather than on the grill.  (The fried eggs are made in a pan too!)

A great option, especially if the Sunset Grill is lined up out the door.

Standard breakfast in The Beach(es)! If you like your eggs firm or anything more than runny, make sure to ask because the standard is on the raw side.

It's just like Sunset Grill, down to the near immediate post-meal indigestion (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...), except they have debit/credit, a full bar and are open till 9 or 10pm instead of SG's standard 4pm.

A 3 egg breakfast without meat comes to $7.35 with tax, which is a few dollars pricier than Sunset Grill. Good in a pinch, but very busy on weekends.

This place is fantastic.  They have all-day breakfast with good prices.  They have little turnover so you can get to know the staff if you're a regular.  They're all friendly and always on their game.  I tend to just stick with their beachside breakfast but I did have the eggs Florentine once which was delish!

They make their own cornbread mini muffins which are TO DIE FOR!  I think they brush them with a honey glaze or something.

The only note I have about this place is to make sure you ask for your hash browns/home fries well done, otherwise they're a little to potatoe-y.

Went there for brunch on a Sunday morning, was surprised by the size of the place, as it looks small from the sidewalk.  Service and food were both excellent, less busy and noisy than the Sunset Grill down the road, and I found the food to be better as well.  Definitely my new brunch place in the Beach.

I am giving Beachside grill 5 stars based on the experiences I have had there -- please note: I have never been for breakfast, so I cannot comment on the breakfast.  But for dinner, the food is very good, and the price is right.  We have our socials at this location with about 10-15 people in attendance in the back area, and every time, we have great service, and good food which doesn't cost an arm and a leg.  The food may not be fancy, but its wholesome.  Everything is good from the burgers to pasta.  And the display of artwork on the wall from local Beach Photo club photographers adds a nice touch as well!

Just went out for lunch with a friend to this fine place yesterday. I had been craving a cheese steak sandwich for a while, so that's what I ordered. Service was prompt and friendly, and the sandwich was quite good (although a bit more fat on the meat than their should have been).

My friend ordered a grilled cheese and cream of mushroom soup. Apparently the grilled cheese was delicious, and the soup not. This doesn't surprise me as you could see a lot of oil floating on the surface.

All in all, it was a good meal and I would be happy to return!

Stopped here for a late brunch today with the family and ordered the all day breakfast with bacon. Excellent value for money. For about $7 you get a giant plate of food that includes a very generous portion of bacon.

Decor was default, nothing special here. Service was adequate. It doesn't have the same charm as Sunset Grill but I would go back. Three and a half stars.

Ick.  Way too greasy and not that tasty.  We went here for brunch and had a variety of things, and nothing was impressive.  Even the yogurt and fruit was sub-par.  Others seem to really like it, but we won't be returning.
