It's one of two Golf Driving ranges in Toronto, and is a bit more affordable and has a bit better set up than Polson Pier (the only other range).
Even though this place is packed every afternoon and weekend whenever the sun is out, the city is looking to sell this land to.. what else, Condo developers! Hopefully city golfers will make a little stir and try and get the city to continue its lease with Beach Fairways.
Previously, the city had City Place as another golfing option, and now if Beach gets paved over, that'll only leave Polson as an accessible range via TTC in Toronto. There's a few in the outskirts of Scarborough and Etobicoke, but that'll be a day trip for anyone who doesn't have a car downtown.
I enjoy working with their golf pro George who's helped me out quite a bit last year. You can even hit off of grass (irons only) for an extra buck fifty.
It's $7 for a small bucket, $11 for a large or $15 for a jumbo, or you can buy a 10 pack that'll save some money. And it's got mini putt!Listed in: Date night, Toronto Golfer's Not So…

A friend is getting ready for her company's golf tournament. The problem: she's never golfed in her life. As someone who somewhat knows what she's doing when golfing, I decided to teach her the basics of the wonderful game of golf. Looking for somewhere that was close to both my home and hers was the challenge. Fortunately with Yelp, I was able to find the Beach Fairway Golf Range.
I love the fact that this establishment can be found on the subway line. This fact is always a bonus in my books. Secondly, the price to hit up the golf range is very reasonable. I have been to golf ranges in the 'burbs and the prices are nowhere near the ones found at BFGR. Thirdly, there is free parking... and we're in the city!
Anyway, come here whether you're a beginner at golf or a pro.
Oh, and there's mini golf... if you didn't know.
