i just wanted to comment on the excellent customer service at this BCBG location. I was at the Metrotown location yesterday trying to exchange a pair of swarovski skull headphones that i had purchased at that location a few weeks ago.
Ready for a workout, on the stairmaster, i hit play on my iPhone and.....disappointment :( No sound. After fiddling for a few moments, I noticed that I could get a bit of a connection if I held the cord a little to the left...no to the right..no, up and down, NO! anyways, the headphones didn't work properly. I was disappointed because the skulls on the ear buds are super cute and i wanted an exchange not a refund.
only problem was that I couldn't find my receipt anywhere. No problem, I thought. Ill just return them to the store that I purchased them from because Im sure Ill recognize someone or vice versa. Also, my info is in their computer since I frequently shop there.
I made the half hour drive out to bby. Once in the store I told the on duty manager my situation and asked if she could exchange for another pair. easy right?...NO. First she asks to test them (why would I lie?) i don't really like sharing earbuds w strangers but, I figured I was getting new ones so...then she didn't say no to an exchange without the receipt, she was hesitant. basically pulling a power trip. I said that the manager sold them to me and my name is in the computer. After searching her computer she informs me I'm not on their list and still doesn't say no but haws and hems while I try to state my case and talk her into an exchange. Finally she says"well, I don't recognize you, so no". She was so un-professional and so rude.
I was kind of expecting the worst when I walked into the Robson location. Once inside a tall, handsome gentleman said hello and behind the counter was a very pretty, smiling lady named Cynthia. I pulled out the headphones and told her my situation. The guy says right away "Do you have a device to try them out on?". i thought, oh no! here we go again!. i pulled out my iPhone plugged in my buds and said "here, who wants to listen?". They both looked a little puzzled and he said "no, i meant for you to try the new buds and make sure they work properly!".....now that is called great customer service! and without fuss or hassle and with friendly attitudes and smiles, I received my new (working) headphones. I told Cynthia that I was worried about not having a receipt and she told me that it was no problem because she recognized me from shopping there in the past. The funny thing is, is that I shop at the Metrotown location 90% more than at the Robson location. Obviously, she is on the ball and knows that a happy customer is a return customer. ....My question is this.... How does someone like the girl at Metrotown become a manager and someone like Cynthia is not. Customer service is so important to a business. The employees represent the company and Im surprised at how many unpersonable and unknowledgeable people get hired these days. Its so easy to be nice and the two employees at the Robson BCBG, Cynthia and handsome tall guy, were not only nice but knowledgeable. i left happy and satisfied...magically, the guilt I felt for paying $65 on a pair of headphones was gone. I think I'll go back tomorrow, they have some super cute bags in right now! -

Had my first experience at BCBG while searching out the perfect cocktail dress for a charity event. This really is the spot for a standout number not to mention some of the best service around. I was with a friend also looking for the same sort of dress and we were fortunate to spend our shopping experience with the store manager Andrea. She was amazing! Actually everyone was from the initial greeting to the transaction ended and we happily left. Back to Andrea... we really had a such a comfortable experience working with her, I gave her complete freedom to pick whatever she thought would look good on my 6' tall frame and I'd do the same when I go back, she knows her store and inventory like the back of her hand and as a result of can take one look at you and pull all the things that she knows will work. I ended up coming away with an amazing rich green sequined dress that I wouldn't have otherwise been drawn too and I couldn't be happier. I've got so many compliments on this piece and have got good wear out of it already which to me justifies paying somewhat higher prices than I would normally spend. Thank you Andrea for finding the perfect dress for my event. I will be back shortly!

I had mad luck the last time I was in here. I randomly wandered in while I was waiting for my bf and oogled over the cute dresses they had by the front.
I had been looking for a pair of peep toe black booties that cut off by the ankles for a while..and to my surprise they had a pair, that was on sale, last size 7 and it was tasteful looking.
I tried it, fell in love and wandered upstairs to see if there were any dresses that I may have liked..I had no luck, but I love the giant leather box they use to display their jewellery. I wish they sold it or their merchandiser knew where they bought it and could a hold of one for me.
Staff have been alright, not overly pushy, which I quite appreciate. -

Recently I had a wonderful experience at this location. I was shopping for a fifties style cocktail dress for my birthday. I didn't have much luck at other stores and sales ladies weren't very helpful. The moment I walked in, someone greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told them what I wanted to buy and directed my upstairs. Once upstairs, a sales lady named Mehghan immediately approached me and offered suggestions after I told her what I was looking for. Soon after she setted a changing room for me and brought out a pair of high heels for me to use. I like efficiency and thoughtfulness. She really tried her best to get dresses in my sizes and offered opinions while helping other customers. She wasn't pushy at all. At the end, I chose a black cocktail dress with a puffy bottom.
A few days later, I got a little card from her thanking me for shopping at the store. She remembered what I bought and I. Very good!
Next time I need a dress, I'll definitely go there first!
