The best service I have had in ages..I have only been in once before today and I had the same cashier. A week or so ago she had helped me and we chatted a bit about work...the holidays...this and that...I even mentioned what I was going to buy my partner...so flash forward to tonight...I approach the till and she greats with with a warm hello and a "Hi Kreag, how was your weekend"?...I was shocked...she not only remembered me..but my name....she even asked if I made the purchase for my partners gift....she blew me away. Now a days everyone in retails is sooo fake and plastic happy or just rude and bitchy. It was a nice surprise to have a genuinely good person..who clearly loves her job...help me out...it put me in a bit of a holiday fuzzy mood... I will be back for her alone!

Outside, on the north side of the Park Royal mall, I was in need of a bottle of wine, and always knew about this government liquor store, just never really fathomed to me to walk in and actually look around for a bottle of fun!
This store is just like the other newer, more prime real estate store that they have, wide, and deep, and filled with variety. They are on the quiet side of the mall, which probably is a good thing, as there is always parking in front (as they are on the outside of the mall), so I can park, run it, and run out back to the car and to home.
Even when they are not busy, they have at least two tills getting you ready to get out of the store, compared to other stores. The selection of alcohol is comparable to the other higher end signature stores. Definitely one of their nicer stores too.
