I was referred here by a doctor at the walk-in clinic after having some problems with my eyes. Out of a bad situation came a fantastic experience, and I plan on coming here for my yearly eye exam.

This is a busy optometric centre but the receptionists take the time to check your current glasses to see if the arms are lose and to clean them while you wait. They are friendly buy busy, so don't expect too much small talk.

Dr. Kara was my optometrist and she was excellent. She is good at her job and attends seminars to say up-to-date (we discussed one of the seminars she had most recently attended the last time I was there). It was clear that my health was her number one priority when she rescheduled my appointment not once but twice, due to my eyes having an allergic reaction the first two times I saw her.

I hate going to the doctor, but if I have to, I'm glad it's here.

I've been coming here for over 5 years now and, as far as clinics go, have always had a positive experience here. The appointments almost always start on time and finish on time. The same sweet receptionist has greeted me over the years and calls to help with reminders of when I'm due for my next appointment. It's located in the pharmacy and beside the medical centre and might be easy to miss if you didn't know it was a eye clinic. Just look for a display of eye glasses and that is the spot.

The reception area has glasses to try on and are reasonably priced (if we can say that about glasses). They don't have a huge selection but it is nice to try some on while you are waiting to pass the time.

My optometrist over the years has been Dr. Hingh. She is funny and friendly, always keeping me entertained while staring at my eyeballs and keeping me calm when I freak out because my eyes steadily erode into blindness.

I've been here a couple of times and I can tell you the doctor was nice but the receptionist is kind of lost and in the wrong profession. They did a full eye exam on me for my new glasses but they must have given me the wrong results because the lenses I have ordered were doubling my vision.

After paying $700 (only the lenses were $400) I contacted them a couple of times to see what can be done and the only feedback they had is to make a new exam and change my glasses. Well thank you!!! The only problem is I don't have another $700 for new glasses!

I don't recommend this place (maybe just my experience) but bring your business somewhere else.
