I needed to buy UPS batteries the Monday after the 2009 Christmas holidays. Another battery store nearby was closed that day, so I walked for 10 minutes to come to this store. So glad they were open! (Otherwise, I would need to carry the old batteries back home!)

The battery on my Panasonic cordless phone died and I had a hard time finding a replacement. A few mass market stores had something that would work, but wanted over $50 for the battery! (I could find a new phone for that!) But I asked around and a friend recommended Battery World. They have an incredible selection of batteries and actually had the old model that I needed to bring my phone back to life. Oh, and it was only $13. I'm a happy camper! When I visited the store I was impressed by the variety of stock they had. I guess it makes sense since they focus on just batteries for the whole store! It is located in an industrial area on Boundary and I get the impression that they probably do a lot of wholesale as well.
