I ALMOST became one of those dog owners who bought a life jacket for his dog. Almost.
My dog has never actually been in a boat but while browsing Bark & Fitz one WestFest I nearly purchased one but mostly due to the cute factor more than anything else.
That should give you an idea of the type of stuff they carry at this place. I'd never been to a Bark & Fitz before and frankly I thought it was a local store and not a chain but I was amused by the doggy clothing and accessories they had in stock.
The jerseys were cute but they didn't have any of my NHL team so I passed and the dog bowls and dishes were also pretty fancy. This is gourmet stuff, right down to dessert (doggy treats) at this place.
But you can pick up things for the owner or just bulk bags of food and they do offer dog services here as well.
The staff even have their pets in store and I'm sure they don't lack any attention. The last time I was there one of them was getting a massage from a pet masseuse. Oh my. A dog's life!
