Wow! What an amazing treat on our recent vacation to Montreal. Outside of the tourist zone for sure, and no english menus but the staff was HAPPY to help us find exactly what we wanted, and invited us to try some of their house specialties. Their ribs are INCREDIBLE!! Finished on their monstrous charcoal fired indoor grill, with a mound of fresh cut fries and generous bowl of MAYO FREE COLE SLAW!!! (one of my favorite things in the world). We also tried their crab cake appetizer, which was a flavorful croquette style fried cake with a crisp exterior shell and moist, steaming hot inside. Their fresh portabello mushroom ravioli was also to die for. Definitely a local joint, but friendly to friendly tourists as well. Highly recommended!!

Great decor and lively but not overwhelming ambiance, Roger is a stylish, warm, and comfortable spot to kick back and enjoy a few drinks. A tad pricey for the (yummy) beer on tap, especially for being that far out of the plateau, but it's hard to hold it against such a great spot.
