Would agree with the other reviewers...good food but nothing special.  Never got the feeling that the meal was something I would remember...typical atmosphere, typical food.  They should look at trying to do something unique to make it an experience.  This was a very famous restaurant (The Deluxe) that had been closed since like the 1950's.  It was used for many movie shoots because the inside was never changed since the 50's.  Still had the old soda fountains, cash registers and booths with the music machine on the wall.  Was looking forward to it reopening.

Very nice room.  The dishes are better than most Thai restaurants.  Mango salad has an unexpected caramel kind of taste that is rich and delicious.  Fresh roll was less than thrilling.  Cashew shrimp was pretty good.  Pad Thai was an unattractive grey, but tasted good.  I haven't been through Dundas in many years, and this place seems like quite an oasis from the Dundas that I remember.  On a rainy sunday evening, the large dining room is almost full, so apparently, I'm not the only one that thought so.

visiting from california, i came here last night with a group of 8. we ordered about 14 dishes of the usual popular thai dishes (pad thai, green curry, mango salad, mango chicken, some chicken skewers, fried red snapper, and some other dishes i forget). the food was decent, but nothing i haven't had before. the pad thai was pretty good, but it had a different taste than what i'm use to. i'm surprised they didn't have pineapple fried rice or thai tea, which is very common in thai restaurants.
