Review from Adam D.
The food here is so addictive, I had a bite and wanted more moRE MORE, the prices are average but service sometimes can take a while. I stopped by here for lunch twice and it took around 10-15 minutes to get my to go food. It was busy so I understand. The portions were a good size. I'm always worried I dont order enough but it was :) . Ive never tried it here at night so Im sure service is quicker. I have a lot of friends who stop by after the gym for some food to pick up. Not greasy just right. I will be back. Im kind of pissed my work moved farther from this place but I will make the extra trip for my noodles.

I passed by here on after running a errand after school and i had to come pick up some food here. Like always, i don't think ill ever be disappointed by this restaurant, service is sooo nice, food is very tasty and they give very generous amounts. I ordered the pad thai today, it cost $10.45 it is a bit pricey but with the amount of meat (chicken and shrimp) that was put into my noodles, i'd say i got my moneys worth. The noodles are very well cooks, lots of flavour, not oily like other asian style noodles, for some reason after eating these noodles it just gives me a good feeling. So its like comfort food, it fills you up and keeps you good till your next meal.

Hubby and I went for another dish of Pad Thai. We added the green papaya salad to share and we could not finish it. The soft drinks are a little pricey and we are still hoping one day they will serve beer. The wall menus have been updated and it looks a bit better in there. Open 'til 8:00pm. I wish it was open a bit later.

This little cafeteria is not much to look at. It exudes authentic because the space is so understated in appearance, they must be going purely on the reputation of their food. And it's excellent! This is authentic Thai. I had a big plate of Pad Thai and it was the best I've had in a long time. I added hot sauce myself, from a hot sauce bottle on the table, replacing the usual ketchup.
I've had bad overly spicey Pad Thai experiences in the past, but this was perfect. They also have peanuts and fish sauce at the front for seasoning to your liking. Smart, especially with a Western market. After all, "spicy" and "hot" are relative terms. The price was right too. I filled up for $10 and had mango juice to sweeten the spicy palette. They have curries here too and veggie spring rolls (two for $1.99), a great deal.
I didn't try the Thai iced coffee but I've had Vietnamese coffee before and I think it's similar. They also sell Thai beer. All in all, I was very happy with the food and service. It was mid-afternoon when I was here, and quiet, but I could see this place getting packed around lunchtime. If you're not craving great ambiance, just great food, this is a great option. It's authentic, fast and good. -

This is probably the first time I've ever had Thai, so I have no other experience to compare it against. But as far as first impressions go, Bangkok Express under promises and over delivers.
My wife has had a bit of Thai food before and she was thoroughly impressed - the decor and the strip mall location certainly leave something to be desired, but they certainly are immaterial, the only thing that ever matters is the food - and according to the other reviews I've seen, this place is the authentic real deal.
The prices certainly won't leave you clutching your wallet for dear life either!
The only disappointment was when I came back to the location a few weeks later and they were closed with electrical problems.
But we will definitely back and we'll be bringing more friends in to experience some real Thai. -
