This is a quiet little area in Langley where they serve delicious dishes. I highly recommend the pad Thai and all the curry dishes. Excellent food and service

This is my favorite Thai place. I'd actually never tried Thai food before coming here. I've developed a love for it and have been to many Thai places since then and they just don't compare. My favorite dish here is the yellow curry with chicken. The spring rolls are delicious, and the yellow curry is so tasty. I've only had the dessert here once, and tried the deep fried banana with coconut ice cream. Fantastic! I'm so glad this is close to my house! The prices are reasonable and the servers are always polite and helpful. The decor is cute and the restaurant always looks very clean.

Ban Chok Dee was my saving grace during a project that required me to practically live out of company headquarters, eating nothing but outside catering - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - for a week.
I highly recommend them for catering - they are easy to work with, accommodating to different budgets, and delivery was always on time. The owner was a very pleasant lady who would always call after delivery to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
Our entire project team raved about the food. It's not "good for Langley" good...it's good period. We had a vegetarian on our team, and they were very accommodating - offering to replace any meat/seafood with tofu or extra vegetables.
If I ever find myself back in Langley I'd definitely go back. -

I found this place on Yelp first before I came. I really don't know the area outside of the Lower mainland Vancouver well enough. Once I go past Surrey, I will get lost for sure without a map or GPS.
Anyways, this place was EPIC. I can say this is one of my favourite Thai Food restaurants ever! but to be honest, why are ALL thai places dim and dark? Is there a reason to that? Because I just went with a friend, and it felt kinda awkward because we will not EVER IN MY LIFE DATE (it's a female) and that bringing her to places like this was very very very awkward.
The decor of the place was very cute. I enjoyed it and the washroom signs they used the Ramayanan Story to indicate male and female. (Hanuman for male, and Sita for female) Adorable :P and they had tons of Thai influence art everywhere. I thought there was a tad too much, and that they were over doing it.
The Food was amazing. I enjoyed their lunch special with my friend. The soup was a nice light broth and the spring roll was well, machine made, nothing special there. The Pad Thai and the Fried Rice was amazing though. I asked for a medium spicy and they gave us the perfect spice that gave us a great big punch at the end of the meal. LOVED IT!
The food was so yummy, I my stomach made me feel good. I have to go again for sure, and it is totally worth the drive, maybe.... :P -

A solid lunch place with solid value.
I got Pad Thai and ordered a side of Tom Yum - the portion on the Tom Yum was small, but the lunch special was filling and tasty.
It's a cozy little resto, and anytime I'm in Langley I know where to stop in for some reasonably priced, tasty Thai. -

Alright- first of all- if you are searching for this place, keep your eyes peeled, because it's hard to spot. I made like 3 u-turns before I could find it, and I was using my gps.
Anyhow, after finding it and entering- this place was pretty cool. It's a intimate place located near the Army & Navy store in Langley. Authentic atmosphere for sure and the service here is excellent!
Now the food. We ordered the Yellow curry w/beef and the Pad see iew w/ tofu (of course). Both dishes came out in a timely manner, and we were all satisfied.
The price is great too, in comparison to others we have tried recently, I think it was about $30 (tip included)
We scored for sure and are happy that you yelpers came to our rescue! Thanks guys! -

Came back here because I was in the area. Shopping at Army and Navy =)
Service was good.
I came with my mom and sister (who doesn't like spicy too much) so we ordered safe.
Got the coconut soup, delish, really good flavour.
Then we got the pad Thai (this is the best I have ever tried so far) and the seafood delight, also delicious.

Nice atmosphere and good food. The lunch specials are reasonably priced, too.
The only reason for 4 stars is the slightly poor service. It wasn't terrible, but wasn't great. They were friendly and all, but my friend and I got ignored and forgotten a few times during our meal.
I would like to see more veg options on the menu, as there were none. Perhaps you can substitute for tofu, but the menu didn't say so. So I just ordered chicken.
The meal came with a soup which was just some sort of broth, and a spring roll, which was tasty.
The Thai iced tea was really good. It tasted very creamy, and I don't think I am interested in knowing how many calories or grams of fat (not that I obsess over these things) were in it. De-lish!

Had lunch here yesterday with my brother who is a frequent diner here, and it was every bit as good as he said it was! I had the L5 Green Curry lunch special, and it was fantastic.
I finished every scrap of food on the plate, I just couldn't stop until it was gone... oh and I had it at medium heat (you can get mild, medium or hot) and it was perfect.
I could tell that everyone around me was enjoying their food as well. You can't go wrong with this little place! -

Really good. I was referred by a friend to go here so decided to try it out. Excellent!! So happy I found this place. There are not too many good restaurants in Langley so I was so pleased. We used to drive out to Richmond for good Thai food. This saves us a lot of time and gas. The food is really tasty, and i love there sweet and sour soup with Prawns. Very yummy. We always get the Coconut curry chicken too. LOVE IT :)

This spot used to be a little take out sushi joint.. so assuming it hadn't changed, I stopped by with my son at lunchtime.
This location is now a dine in (and take out) Thai place. What a change... and so deceiving from the outside. The decor is beautiful, dark walls, linen napkins, wood carving on the walls.. the whole bit.
So, my six year old and I decided to stay and have lunch. We ordered a veggie and pork thingie with tofu, jasmine rice and spring rolls. The presentation was better and more appealing than ANY (yes I said ANY) restaurant I have ever eaten in. Seriously the radish flowers and trimmings were like floral arrangements!!! My son was so enthralled he ate zucchini and tofu without hesitation (I practically kissed the server).
This teeny tiny little place may languish as it hangs on beside the Army Navy parking lot in a neighbourhood of people who probably thing Red Robin is fine dining.... but I am Yelping and saying "GO THERE AND EAT".
My lunch date with my beloved little boy was enjoyable, the service was 5 star and we had plenty left to take home for our $20 investment.
I heart Ban Chok Dee.... -

Our favorite close-by Thai place since Best Thai switched hands.
Consistently good food, decent sized dishes, service can be a little spotty but is always super friendly. The place is beautifully decorated and staff dressed in traditional Thai garb.
Pad Thai is good, spring rolls awesome, and the green curry is AMAZING, as is the deep-fried banana dessert with coconut icecream :). Be really specific about what level heat you want as we've had dishes requested at super-spicy come out mild. -

Delicious thai food and great ambiance.. a little hidden jewel in langley.
If you're looking for something a little tastier and more unique than the usual chain restaurant in Langley, this place is a really nice option.
The food was excellent, definitely try the spring rolls mmmm
The service was exceptional, and all the plates were beautifully laid out with little flower carved carrots! How can you say no to that!? -

My friend and I came here for lunch because of a Groupon. I thought the restaurant was very cozy and had a nice atmosphere. The service was decent, but the food wasn't all that great.
We had ordered the chicken spring rolls, red curry and pad thai. The spring rolls were good, both chicken and vegetable (vegetable came with the lunch special). As for the red curry, (it had arrived about 20 minutes before the pad thai) we asked for it to be very spicy and it came out very bland and not spicy at all. When the pad thai finally arrived, and I tasted it, I felt like my mouth was on fire. I told the waiter when we ordered that I wanted it to be midly spicy, and he said that I had to specifiy that I wanted it mildly spicy because he told the kitchen to make it very spicy....I have no clue why he decided to do that. Anyway, he took the pad thai back and it came out about 15 minutes later. The plate of pad thai looked like it was watered down and over cooked, you can see the plate drenched with water which made the dish bland.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this "Thai" restaurant to anyone that I know because the service and food just doesn't impress me. -

I went back here to try again and the service was much better. This is some of the best Thai food around. I will be back. It seems they were jus run off their feet the first time and they are figuring stuff out as they have been open for longer.
