Stephanie and her team are amazing! So helpful, knowledgeable and passionate. I used to live around the corner, moved and popped back in yesterday to be reminded of how much I miss this little place.
The cut flowers are fresh and vibrant and the plants are so green and healthy. I picked out a couple jasmine plants and for a mere $2 extra, Stephanie planted them complete with quality soil, drainage stones and moss. She even replaced one of the plants as my untrained eye has missed some spotting on the leaves. That is service above and beyond.
Great planters, accessories and artisan goodies complete the pretty picture. -

A gorgeous little plant/floral-design boutique in Southeast False Creek. If you're going down to check out the Athletes' Village, take a moment to drop in on proprietor Stephanie Lee's little shop of flowers.
She's got really cute stuff-that-grows in store, including my personal fave, Thai Hoyas that are naturally love-shaped (see the posted pics). Planted in cool pots and available in a couple of different sizes (one heart or two), I think I may have just stumbled upon the best Valentine's gift ever!
Balconi's also got pretty locally made gift items, like organic shea butter soaps, soy scented candles and, of course, plenty of leaves, petals and blooms - prearranged or custom designed (these Stephanie tries to obtain locally, as well) - to choose from.Listed in: Give Good Gift!
