Review from Paul F.

Outstanding food, the best beer selection in town (and that's really saying something in this town). Most importantly, the best service I've seen in any restaurant anywhere! There's an incredible attention to detail here, and the staff seem every bit as motivated to live up to that as the owners do, which is truly a rare thing in most restaurants.

Stopped in after work one night a couple of weeks ago - the place was packed!
Lots of great options for local brews and an impressive, up-scale food menu. We only sampled some of the appetizers but they were great (onion rings, wings). -

I've been here twice now and both experiences have been quite good. The upstairs is a nice room, and it's possible to find a table on most nights, although be warned that this place will be extremely busy after 6pm. They have a great selection of craft beers on tap.
The grazing menu is mostly excellent - buttery, acidic cilantro-lime edamame; tender short rib beignet, gigantic onion rings with parmesan and mayo that are in dire need of a little more salt, perhaps balanced by very salty (preferable in this case) pretzels with mustard.
A short rib poutine (more of that good, tender meat) tastes great with very rich gravy, but I'm more of a fan of bigger fries than these ones. A corned beef on rye with grainy mustard hits the mark completely. A quinoa and tofu salad is cooked properly, but a bit bland. A chocolate and raspberry dessert is beautifully plated and very intense.
I've yet to try a lot of the specials and more expensive dishes here, but I am quite confident in the kitchen's abilities. A notch above any other iteration of pub food in Guelph. -

I was in town for business and saw that this newer establishment had been given some good reviews, so we decided to check it out. It was great! We started with the lime-cilantro edamame which was tasty. A nice twist on edamame. For my main course I went with the Short Rib Poutine. Yumm-o! You can't go wrong with fries, cheese curds, and gravy covered with shredded beef. :) My co-worker went with the burger and loved it. It came with a salad and fries which he devoured. We both also had local craft beers that were good. I would recommend it to anyone.

History
Established in 2011
Since we started this project, all of us here at The Baker Street Station have known exactly what kind of pub we wanted our place to be. It needed to reflect the time-tested tradition of great English public houses while at the same time bringing a fresh new perspective to the classic pub experience.
After countless hours of preparation and through meticulous attention to every detail, we feel as though we've finally achieved in making this vision a reality. Our menu is fresh, yet traditional. Our atmosphere is classic, yet infused with a modern flair. Our beverage selections reflect what we believe are the best that Ontario and the world have to offer. We want every dining experience to reflect our dedication to the rich tradition of public houses past, while at the same time giving our guests something new, fresh and inspired.
