A cozy atmosphere, food sourced from local producers, and lots of comfy sofas - I could see why Bacchus seems to be a popular hang out in St. Albert. The menu is small but has a reasonable amount of variety to it. Breakfast has a few egg dishes, French toast, and frittatas, while lunch is a variety of sandwiches. Since this is a wine bar, there is of course a good selection of wines, but also bottled beers. Prices seem reasonable, and the staff are friendly.

As of March 2012, it appears as though Bacchus is no longer in operation.

They did a Groupon deal a little bit ago so we bought one and tried it. My meal consisted of ribs and coleslaw. The ribs could have been warmer (temperature-wise) and the coleslaw was exactly the same as what you get at Swiss Chalet. It was expensive for the portion size and quality of food we received.

The lady who served us and who I presume was the owner seemed to care a lot about how our meal was and that we had a good experience.
