My favorite shwarma in town.
Meat is well seasoned and you get a good amount. Their veggies are always crisp, the pita never stale and the sauces are fresh. I have yet to have a bad one. -

had an awesome shwarma yesterday...rich in flavour, good in both quality and quantity...worth giving it a try

If you are in the mood for a quick Middle Eastern meal, then I have to say that Babylon Cafe is my favourite by far. Overall, the chicken and beef schwarma's/plates are well priced for the amount of food you get. I only give this location on Robson four stars because although the food is great, on my last two occasions they have managed to bungle my order and given me falafel instead of schwarma as well as adding certain topics which I did not want.

I really like the chicken shwarma plate. First time I ate it; it was superb! The chicken was cut in stripes. Second time, I was a little bit disappointed, because the chicken was a little dry and chopped. I wish to have a better experience next time. But, I definitely will come back because this shwarma plate is better than 53rd and 6th avenue NY.

The West End which is the Shwarma capital of Vancouver, and Babylon is the one closest to my abode. The shwarma is ok, tasting like most of the rest of the sea of rotating meat in this part of town. They do stuff it full of fresh goodies though. The Falafal well they are pre-cooked and very dry most of the time. Hint. peek in the falafal box and see how fresh they look.
Yes they are gruff and welcome you like you just kicked their kitten, yes the decor is food wagon meets flea market. But the food is cheap, quick, and good sized portions.
I would have given them three stars if I could have gotten a smile out of anyone in the place, and they see me all the time. -

Super delicious!
You have to try the chicken shwarma plate, it's finger-lickin' delicious!
There is an outdoor patio and if you're lucky enough, grab a seat and people watch as you eat your o-so-delicious food! -

Ordered the $5.80 falafel wrap. Contrary to the previous review, my falafel was scooped out of a freshly mixed bowl and deep fried in front of me. May depend on time of day. The falafel had a light crisp on the outside and inside was soft and fresh tasting. Lots of nice veggies in the wrap and generous saucing! and including tax, my dinner was $6.50. For the price, this place is bang on. And the nice guy who made it for me is a pro - fastest pita wrapping job I've ever seen, nicely stuffed and stayed together well.
