We arrived a bit early...we thought! Walking in the door shortly after 5 p.m. on a weeknight, customers flowed in behind us steadily.
Love, love, loved the colorful murals and atmosphere! Our waitress was on her game and quickly brought out warm chips and some of the best salsa I've had in awhile.
After perusing the extensive menu for quite some time, my friend ordered a vegetarian combo plate. She really enjoyed it.
I ordered the Alhambre plate. Skirt steak grilled with poblano peppers and bacon and served with rice and refried beans. VERY tasty!
The prices were really reasonable and the portions weren't tiny. There is a bar off to the side, but we stuck to water tonight! All in all, I'd say this would be a great choice for Mexican in Davenport.
