Service at Awesome Nails is just like its name. Awesome. (and nails).

I've been three times for pedicures and the staff have been consistently friendly and professional. This is by far the salon with the friendliest and most polite staff I've been to. They do a great job calf massaging and exfoliating, and putting on polish of course. I have ingrown nails (ewwww i'm sorry to share but i'm writing a review) and they are SO gentle and do such a good job of taking it out, always checking to see if it hurts. All chairs are massage chairs but I don't like to use it as it hurts my weaksauce back.
I'm quite nitpicky about sanitation so I made sure to peek at how they clean the first time I went, and as soon as each customer leaves they will bust out the cleaning agents and start scrubbing away.
I love their warm little jacuzzi tub for your feet and they will try to get you into a chair as soon as it's available so while you're waiting for staff to come do your nails you can still enjoy the massage chair and foot jacuzzi dip.

It's good to make an appointment because some days tend to get quite busy. There's about 4 staff who do pedicures ($30) and around 4 for manicures as well. If my memory doesn't fail me there are about six chairs available at once for pedicures and six for manicures. I've never gotten a manicure done here because my job doesn't allow me to do my fingernails but from what I've seen and heard from other customers, they do a fantastic job as well. I also don't remember the pricing for that because I am self centered and only focus on things pertaining to me =(
But I do remember for a fact that they charge a lower price for both pedi and manis for people under the age of 13. So if you are youthful then you are luckier.

I tried a paraffin ($12) for my feet the last time I went and it was quite interesting. They dip your feet in wax and then plastic bag wrap it and then it's in these white little moon boots that are plugged in for 10-15 minutes. It makes your feet real soft afterwards. It was like I had eels for feet or something..

If you forget to bring open toed shoes they do sell flipflops (good quality ones) for two dollars or you can sit and wait until your nails dry. I didn't feel like paying 2 dollars for my own stupidity so I chose to sit. They will let you keep the fan blower to dry your nails quicker if no one else needs it.

(They use OPI nail polish which is my personal favourite brand)
