Awesome food. French.
Out of the restaurants along the street, this one had more reasonable prices and more food/meal combinations than the other restaurants on the street. The decor of the restaurant is French as well. Good service included, but not all of the staff speaks english so be wary of that. -

For those unfamiliar, Grande Allee has a nice 2 block stretch lined with outdoor cafes. It is a really nice atmosphere near the provincial government buildings.
We went for lunch, and Canons seemed to be a bit more reasonably priced and laid than some of the others. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. The salad was unique and tasty, the pasta was bland and over cooked. All the dinnerware was funky and unique, it that kind of thing matters to you.
It is hard to find decent food at a reasonable price in Quebec City. This place comes close. I would maybe try another place next time, but tis place is not off my list.
