My favorite downtown little pizza slice shop! They have a special where you get two slices and your drink is free..
Very easy to quickly grab something to take back to the office.
You'll like the sauce, has a slightly sweet taste to it, the crust is nice and thick, and the toppings are plentiful. They also put the toppings under the cheese which is a personal favorite of mine.
All in all, if you want a simply good slice of pizza pie, come to ASP..you won't be dissapointed. And if you are? Give me your slice. -

Pizza is thick and doughy by the slice, just as I like it. But the tomato sauce was super-sweet, just like I don't. It tasted like bottled Prego, which shouldn't contain sugar but it somehow does.
Also, I needed a little more cheese to fully satisfy my pizza craving. Overall a decent lunch choice, but I wouldn't go here with any regularity even if I worked in the business center this place is located in. -

I am a pizza lover! I can honestly say that if I eat pizza like this everyday I may no longer love pizza! This was some of the worst pizza I have ever tasted. Even worse than mall food court pizza which is pretty bad. The pizza looked so appetizing with the ingredients under all the cheese and an abundance of sauce. The pizza is deep dish and actually the crust wasnt too bad. The sauce is SO sweet and sugary that it hurt to eat and the cheese and toppings were just bland! I would recommend heading else where in the downtown area for your next slice of pie!

Do you like the smell of freshly made pizza?? Well if you got a pulse and I am almost positive that you do. Then walking by ASPS is a deadly trap. Because sadly that smell is just bait to get you in the door.
:(
Because I was totally fooled cause they pre-make their pizza's and store them in a heat lamp contraption. Can you say "food court"?? Seriously my slice of spinach & mushroom pizza was pretty much lame...yes LAME!!! And Brian H is right their sauce is too sweet for my liking. So ASPS fix your pizza and sauce ASAP!!!!!!

I've literally been sitting on top of this place for over a month. It's located in the lower levels of the Wells Fargo building. So yeah, convenient it would be. And busy too, barely a minute after we arrived there was line of at least 12 people deep winding out the door.
They have cheese, pepperoni, hawaiian, and daily 2 top specials where I had 2 slices of the tomato basil.
Really good crust, for me that is. The underneath crust was thin but not flimsy. And the "curb" crust was pillowy like Boboli dough and I love the stuff. The sauce was pretty good and the sweetness someone in my office complained about was probably from the tomato paste. The sauce really worked for the tomato basil combo, of course.
So I'll have to make another trip and try another slice or two. I don't mind. All for the good of Yelp and my fellow Yelpers!

I think pizza should be graded to a higher standard, because it should be fairly easy to make a decent tasting peice of pizza. So I rate Atlantic Street a little low, even though it's really so-so. In my opinion, when pizza is only OK, it doesn't deserve many stars. On the other hand, pizza has to really stand out to get a four or five. But back to Atlantic Street...
The sauce is sweet, which I don't prefer. In fact it's very sweet, and that sweet taste isn't offset by any sort of spiciness. The layer of cheese on top of that sweet sauce is very separated, and tends to get a little firm. This causes some serious separation between the toppings and the crust as you're trying to bite through - that bugs me. I prefer the toppings to remain semi-soft, at least for awhile as I'm eating. This cheese, for whatever reason, cools and hardens quickly.
The other negative factor is the crust. The pizza looks HUGE, but so much of that is the crust at the end. I LOVE crust, but this crust is rediculous! It's a gigantic blob of fairly tasteless chewy crust at the end. If any crust was a canidate for the "stuffed crust" phenomenon, this is it. And normally I would prefer the crust stuffed with sauce, but then we get back to the sauce being too sweet, which I don't like.
In short, this pizza has too much going against it for me to recommend it. Free? Go for it! But buy it? No. -

Again, another place I thought I reviewed before.
Decent pizza, but not the best. You do get a lot for what you pay for. I got two big slices and a soda for $6. The sauce was ok but I like something a little tangier. I was not a big fan of the crust, which I thought was a little rubbery. Nevertheless, I do see myself coming back here from time to time.

Not just a good little pizza place, but one of the most affordable lunch places you'll find in downtown if you need to eat more than a soup or a Quizno's sub. The slices are quite large and the the sauce has a uniquely sweet taste to it. You can get two slices for around $6, which is perfect for those who already get free soft drinks where they work. It's slightly hard to find if you are coming from 4th Ave. You can cut through the Wells Fargo building to the escalators and it's right behind it on 3rd.

Yum!--simple, straightforward, great-tasting pizza, nice friendly service, good portions, very reasonable prices.
Note that there is no indoor seating, only outside on the patio. -

I guess I could put it this way: my coworker and I will sit outside in the wind and misty-rain to eat Atlantic Street Pizza. Granted, we hate our office and this place is close and cheap...
However, I've been here plenty of times and I've never been let down. The guys who work here are really great, especially once you get to know them. (Meaning I was intimidated by the guy at the counter at first, but I've come to understand his sense of humor.)
Granted, this isn't the best pizza I've ever had. But if you're downtown and looking for a good, cheap place to eat, I'd highly recommend! -

A solid pizza snack/meal option downtown. The old fart is meh, but the dude in back totally cool and friendly. I had a phichest and a slice of margherita (tomato basil). Good stuff; the pizza wasn't too heavy/greasy, either. Awesome in that I didn't know it came with a drink. Cool, filled 'er up with raspberry(?) iced tea. As an odd side note: strange how the receipt shows Marion Street Pizza at address 18317 Bedford Ct NW... which is some random house up north near Carkeek Park. o.0

Gone... and with it's passing we have lost the best pizza this great nation has yet yielded.
Never before has a cheeze pizza so righteously brought the thunder!
The best pizza the world has yet revealed to me. Deep dish in Chicago is great, but it's just not the same. ...and forget that floppy NYC nonsense. The only thing close is a brick oven thin crust, but that's basically a cracker.
The supreme at Toni Maroni used to be a close second, but their quality has dropped through the floor. Atlantic Street is undisputed champion of naughty good pizza.
This pizza probably cures cancer. -

My favorite pizza in Seattle, by far. The sauce is on the sweet side, if that bothers you, you probably won't like it. I LOVE the sweet sauce. And the crust is to die for.
The guy at the counter can be rude, which I find way more annoying than charming. But the pizza's so good they still get 5 stars. -

So I met Jasmine here for lunch today, and even without the fantastic company, I would have enjoyed myself. Fantastic company was the icing on the cake. Or would that be extra cheese on the pizza? Yeah, bad, I know. Anyway, for $6 you can get two slices of pizza, each as long as my forearm, AND a soda. I don't know the length of your forearm, and I'm not exactly tall, but these were still very large slices of pizza. I couldn't finish them both. I'm still feeling a little guilty about being wasteful. I got the tomato basil and the spinach mushroom, both very good. And I'm with Jasmine on the sauce - I really like the sweet tomato paste. I generally like a crispy, thin crust, and while this was thin and not crispy, I found myself enjoying it. It was nice to eat outside - it's the ONLY place to eat here. Thanks Jaz! You rock!

There's an older man that works the counter. He's not very friendly. He just stares at you with a straight face while you place your order. They didn't have the pizza I wanted. When I picked something else, the man grabbed my piece from the pizza heater with his bare hands at the crust. I didn't eat the crust. I left disappointed.

This place has one of the best meatball grinders money can buy! The pizza is good but I come here for the grinders. 5 large meatballs on a french bread roll with melted mozzarella on top, lined with their spicy and sweet marinara sauce. The sandwich is huge and it only cost $5 and that includes a pop. It is really hard for me to not make at least 1 or 2 lunch runs at this place. This is gotta be the best value in Seattle. The guys that work the shop are good guys...once in a while, they'll flip you crap but its all in good fun. If you're down for a meatball grinder make sure that you get there early because sometimes they run out of bread. Don't sleep on this one and miss out...it's totally worth it!!

Excellent place for a lunchtime slice or two! And if you spend $5 or more (~$3 per slice), then you get a free large soda! They are very quick service, with pizzas right out of the oven. Each slice is about the size of two "major brand" pizzas. Get the pepperoni & red onion!

Great-tasting slices and quick service make Atlantic Street a good choice for lunch if you work downtown. The pizza's nothing fancy, but the tangy/sweet sauce and extra-doughy crust will stick out in your mind. Atlantic Street is hidden in the Wells Fargo Building underneath the escalator that connects the main lobby floor (3rd Ave) and 2nd Ave. If the weather is nice, you can sit out in the courtyard and catch some sun.

Interesting place for a slice. I like the cheese, its got a few notches on the usual one. Size does matter too, if your hungry you'll find these to be a bit bigger than the average. Convience is sometimes king.

This place was very disappointing. Went there again today, just in case the first time was a fluke, but it wasn't.
The pizza is sub-par. The sauce is too sweet, the crust is too sweet. The pizza wasn't fresh at all (the heat-lamps aren't even set hot enough). The toppings were uninspired.
The atmosphere is nonexistant. There are no indoor seats, and the location is hard to find (the address is 3rd Ave, but it's on the 2nd Ave side of the building).
The guy behind the counter seemed desperate for someone to talk to, and I was not in the mood for conversation, but ended up walking out on him mid-sentence because he wouldn't stop talking.
There are many better alternatives within walking distance of this establishment, I don't recommend it. -

still one of the best slices of pizza in town imho. i always get the slice of the Atlantic Street Special. and for $7.50 you can get what's called "lunch special #2" right now. it's a truly epic title for a lunch special. you get your choice of a slice of pizza, a garden salad with your choice of dressing and a soda. pretty frickin' awesome if you ask me.

i did not like this place. i see here remarks about the sauce--people liked it who liked a sweet sauce. i wish i would have consulted yelp before trying this place. if you do not like a sugary tomato sauce, do not eat here. i like a nice fresh tomato-y sauce, where i can taste garlic and onions, not sugary tomato paste. also, the slices i happened to get were cold. folks, this is like bad reheated frozen pizza--thick boboli crust, generic cheese. i felt generally nauseous for several hours after eating this as well. maybe some of their specialty slices are ok (and you do get a free soda), but on a basic slice, its a no go. i will not return to this place, and i will continue my search for a decent slice in seattle.

I went here for lunch today based on the what I remember about the old U-district location and the craving for a calzone that I saw on the menu in my coworkers cubicle. I headed down to see if they were open and sure enough, they still were. It's a small little place with pre-made pizza slices ready to go. The reheat the slices to order. If you want somehting fresh, you need to order a whole pie, sandwich or calzone. There was no line so I stepped up ordered my italian sausage calzone. To my surprise it came with a drink. I gues for about $9, it should. Since it was made to order, I had about a 10 minute wait. While waiting, I noticed that there were three guys working there. One making the orders, one at the counter and one that makes deliveries. Looked like a pretty smooth operation. When I got my calzone, it was huge. I expected big, but this guy was bigger that I expected. Enough to feed two. However, digging in to it, the flavors were rather bland. The crust needed salt and the filling needed seasoning. It contained the sausage, thinly sliced, cheese, spinach, green peppers, onions, olives and their special sweet sauce. The sauce was sweet but need some body and kick. So overall, I would give this place just an okay or meh. Maybe calzones aren't their specialty so I'd probably go back and see how the pizza is.

Atlantic Street has the best pizza I have ever had, with a nice, thick crust and generous amounts of cheese and toppings. I was sad when the U-district ASP closed following the death of the owner, but I' mglas this little shop carries on the tradition.
