At the Crossroads Restaurant you can get the tasty buffet or the a la carte menu.  As I am a big fan of all-you-can-eat restaurants, I go for the buffet for dinner.  Often when I go, I run into friends and acquaintances while partaking of the steam table.

Lots of choices are available to you at the all you can eat buffet.  I have been known to have multiple servings of roast beef, turkey, sausage, and chicken, among others.  There are gluten free and no sugar added options available for those with specific dietary restrictions.  There are also a number of kid-friendly items.  The food has a homemade flavour, and there are a number of delicious desserts available, I often have to have a second helping of the desert.

I find there there is generally something for everyone.

One note to make, there is no liquor license here, so you cannot order an alcoholic beverage with your dinner.  It doesn't make much difference to me, but my wife would probably order a glass of wine with her dinner if she could.

    THE BEST FOOD IN ELMIRA!

I discovered Crossroads on my way to the Cottage, and I can't get enough. The food is amazing! All homemade, fresh when you get there. Or the buffet, which I'd love to go to everyday if I could. The food is just that good.

The service is super friendly and always helpful. They make the experience even better. The dessert is UNBELIEVABLY good. Coconut Cream Pie, Lemon Pie, Apple Pie, ICE CREAM, so many different things to choose from.

If you are in the area and want a good filling wholesome meal, Crossroads is IT!

I've been here three times so I must like it. It's out of character for me. Normally I enjoy the spiciest, ethnic-iest food imaginable. "At the Crossroads"  restaurant is the opposite of that.

This restaurant is a buffet located in the Mennonite Kitchener suburb of Elmira. There is a gift shop in the front of the restaurant that sells scented candles and potpourri, quaint figurines for your garden, etc.

The customers are generally ancient and/or part of a bus tour.

The buffet consists of copious quantities of bland food, such as mashed potatoes, roast meat and some sort of chef-boyardee type pasta.
Once during Oktoberfest they had some sausage and sauerkraut.

The best part is the dessert. There must be every type of pie in existence available. Especially appreciated was gluten-free pie and bread. There were apple dumplings, cakes and lord knows what else.

It's a lot of fun and I recommend At the Crossroads if you find yourself in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.
