Review from Judy L.
I only had their fancy bubble tea, which took a little longer than usual to get, but it was worth it. The bubbles were just chewy enough and the drink was not too sweet.
Super nice service. Will return upon my next visit to try the Taiwanese food. I'm so ready to try their salted veggie & pork noodle soup.
Bring your colorful Canadian bills and coins. The is a cash only joint. -
Review from Flora C.
A new restaurant to us named, Taiwanese Cuisine. There was a good amount of people dinning there. With that, I am giving it a chance.
The people behind us ordered a lot of food and all the dishes smelled really good.
Lunch set A+ B.
Seafood Hot Pot with Milk ??? Yeah! Weird.
It came along with a bowl of rice and black pepper beef.
My order... It is another lunch set.
Stir Fried Shanghai Noodle
Salad??? Arr... okay?
4 pc of pot stickers
In addition, there is a side order of XLB (Xiao Lon Bao). I asked for vinegar and ginger and the waitress said....
I am sorry we don't have any. I can give you red vinegar if that's okay. What? XLB no vinegar and ginger??? What kind of XLB is that?
Conclusion after the meal...
DO NOT come to this restaurant.
The food is awful.
Hot Pot - Tasteless and not interesting at all. The shrimp is bad.
Milk Tea - Awful
Lemon Tea - Awful and I can say I make better lemon tea at home than this thing here.
Noodle - it is eatable (how sad)
XLB - never mind it
Note for Judy L.
Coming from San Francisco, Ca. you must have experience much better bubble tea. Their drinks at Taiwanese Cuisine are awful. I hope you are not reviewing the same restaurant.
