Review from Wang Treecy E.
Came here with my family of 7 because we were starving. When we first walked into the restaurant, it was burning hot, because the ACs were down. Instead we sat outside at around 8. The waitress asked us whether we would like a booster seat or a high chair for my little nephew. We replied booster, instead she brought a high chair for him.
It was getting dark and so the mosquitoes started attacking us, I wanted to move back in. I waited for the waitress for a good 10 minute to walk out, but she didn't come out. Instead I could not take the blood sucking vampires and decided to walk in to look for her. She was standing over the counter eating. I felt bad interrupting her meal but I had to move in. She said its fine and so she moved our silverware, we had to carry our own drinks in.
Ok we ordered fish, pork, squid and tamarind soup. They decided to cook the food but when it was almost done, they told us they didn't have the squid entree. Why didn't you guys tell us earlier. So the food was on our table, and we looked at the fish and the fish was raw!! We asked them to recook it and they did, they did such a fabulous job (sarcasm) it became burnt! Everything looked very delicious, but looks are deceiving. The pork was extremely greasy, it was really dipped in oil, instead of squid, we ordered beef, which was the only good part. The tamarind soup did not even taste like tamarind.
The waitress was not being attentive, the place was empty so there was no excuse. We asked for the check and had to go remind them 3 times for the check. We wanted to rush out so we would not miss the Niagara Falls fireworks. My brother got out of his seat to get her. My brother had his card in his hand, and she just gave the check to him. She said she'll be right back without grabbing the check. Hello? My brother held the card so you could just take it away.
Luckily we took a look at the bill because they calculated wrong. It ended up being more than it was, they charged us an extra entree. All in all, it took about a good half an hour to give the bill and to fix the bill. They gave the bill back, and did not return my brother's card, which made my brother walk back. The bill was $80 and they mistaken it as $110!
Therefore, this place has really poor management, food, and service.
