I did a month-long round of student teaching at Archbishop Mac, for my Music Education minor in University. What a great school! It has an academic focus, and the students were very friendly and many of them quite mature for their ages. The teacher I was paired with was in his final year before retirement, and was a real hoot to work with. He taught both art and music, and did an excellent job at both. Although I am not Catholic, my faith and culture were respected, and for the first time in my life I actually met a Jewish teacher (irony of irony it being in a Catholic school). I occasionally meet someone who went here and they generally tend to be high academic achievers. All in all I would say this is a great school.
