This cleaning service is fantastic. I used them a few weeks ago and got the initial deep cleaning done. I was blown away by the results.
Asia came and cleaned everything. She was very thorough. She started in the bathroom and made her way through the entire apartment in 4 hours. When I came to examine everything - it was spotless. She did a fantastic job and I'm going to become a regular client with this company. -

I work alot and am always busy so I never have time to clean and when I do have extra time, its the last thing I wanted to do. So I decided to treat myself and hire a cleaning service and am so glad that I did!
Kaisia has done my last few cleanings and everything has been spotless after she is done. I haven't been home for the cleanings since they happen when I'm at work but I come home to a clean and organized apartment. My only complaint is that she sometimes organizes a little too much, to the point that I can't find things. But really thats just my fault for being a organized clutter mess.
I highly recommend Anna's, they are fantastic! -

Anna's cleaning service is amazing. After reading only positive reviews, I signed up to have Ewa do an initial "deep clean" of my apartment. They were very flexible about scheduling around my odd hours.
I left a short list of items I wanted to focus on and Ewa hit all of them and more. For me, there's a distinct difference between cleaning services that mechanically (and sometimes halfheartedly) perform the tasks that are described to them, and cleaning services that really go for the "extra credit" and make an effort to go above and beyond to make the place sparkle. Ewa was definitely in the latter bucket. She scrubbed and dusted areas I had not even thought to mention, thoughtfully re-organized pictures, dishes, appliances and clothes that I'd just become used to, and took extra care to make sure the place felt home-y.
Ultimately, I wasn't able to chaperon the cleaning. Despite my concerns, Ewa got the key from the doorman, cleaned the place, and left unnoticed. There was a subsequent minor mixup around some misplaced items, but Anna was receptive and accommodating about helping me until I eventually found them. I can attest to her philosophy of "doing the best job she can." Highly recommend! -

Anna has been very responsive to my texts, and I greatly appreciate the open communication. This is one reason why I gave 3 stars.
I work hard all week and put in very long hours. I need someone to clean so I can concentrate on other things. Instead, after the cleaning there are so many VERY obvious places that are completely missed. Splashes on the floor; dust and splashes on lamps and tables; the top/side/handle of the fridge; the medicine cabinet, etc.
In all fairness, but also something that is puzzling: The cleaning is quite well done, overall. But the level of inconsistency is strange. For instance, I asked for the fridge to be cleaned out. Girl did an excellent job, but completely missed the fingerprints on the sides near the sink, the 'well' had loads of crumbs, and the top of the fridge was still very dusty. But---the inside was spotless, as was the front. Perplexing, especially since I explicitly asked for her not to miss the top and showed her the 'well' (handle-free door; this is where the fingers go to pull the door open). The kitchen floor definitely looked mopped, but there were three or so splashes that cleaned right up for me, so how did they get there since she had just mopped and I literally got home less than 1/2 hour after discovering the splashes?
The first girl who came was amazing; I never had a single problem. She quit Anna's to do something else, so I was told. Then came another girl whose attitude was slightly cocky and would not use the checklist I left her. Not surprisingly, she missed most things I put on the list. I got someone else who is very sweet and cleans most things really well. I like her a lot.
The problem is that there are these obvious misses, and it totally baffles me. I have a one-bedroom that is not at all cluttered. I always ask for the 4-hour cleaning, even for the one bedroom. I don't micromanage and ask what the girl did for the entire 4 hours, nor am I home to snoop on her. I even gave one extra cash when she had to wait 15 minutes for me one day, etc. I NEED someone to clean so I will do what it takes and put up with a lot to keep the right girl. But at the end of the day, the ENTIRE apartment should be thoroughly cleaned. It isn't right to miss big stains on the kitchen floor; it isn't right that there are fingerprints on the medicine cabinet or lint on the carpet.
Sorry. For anyone who really wants a truly *clean* apartment, not one that simply has been dusted, vacuumed, or re-organized, you'll have to indeed micromanage; maybe the girl who cleans will be open to feedback. -

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Very hit or miss. I know many people had a better experience than I did, lucky them! This experience for us was by far and away the most passive aggressive transaction of my life. The point of a cleaning service is to make the customer's life easier, dealing with Anna and her cleaner, Eva was an exercise in exhaustion. We paid for our space to be cleaned 1x per week. Eva never followed instructions and continually used incorrect products and damaged our things by doing so. Anna was responsive but only to tell me that I needed to be patient with Eva. ?? Every other week there was a conversation like this. Eva did clean well enough but we had to endure her constant attitude, comments and constant cell phone use while she cleaned. The weekly hand holding and defensive and emotional conversations with her boss Anna is not worth it. Pay the extra money and use a more professional service. Eva also liked to smash my new vacuum cleaner to the floor while I was home and pretend she did not know what the crash was. Disgusting.

After construction had held me hostage in a messy apartment, I needed a professional. After texting with Anna, the friendly Asha showed up at my door to scour my apartment.
Kitchen:
Asha cleaned inside my cabinets, inside my fridge, inside my oven, inside my microwave.
Bathroom:
Everything.
Floors:
Asha + Murphy's = Shining
Wonderfulness:
Asha was friendly, smiley, showed up on time and man did she work - flitting back and forth across the apartment with such energy doing not easy work.
Tip: Be sure to doublecheck/re-confirm your appointment a couple days before, just in case. -

Martyna was FANTASTIC. She was incredibly sweet, realistic, pleasant, and just an all-around nice person. Who wreaked havoc on the cat hair taking over my place. And was nice to my cat in the process. I love her.
I've tried a number of cleaning services, mostly through discount sites like Groupon and Tippr and LivingSocial, and been really dissatisfied with them all. The only one who did a good job used multiple roles of paper towels and almost an entire bottle of bleach and an entire box of Clorox cleaning wipes in order to make my apartment look clean, and I don't keep it dirty enough to justify that kind of waste. There's not a lot of grime, but there's a TON of cat hair, and no one's done a good job dealing with it.
Enter Martyna. She cleaned every corner. All the upholstery and furniture. The curtains, because my cat likes jumping through them to get on the windowsills. She even cleaned my cat's little carpeted perch, which frankly, was a disgusting nightmare, because it got so bad so fast after I bought it that I couldn't even mentally deal with getting all the hair off. And she was even nice enough to make sure I'd only requested a normal cleaning because according to her my place was beautiful and didn't need a deep clean - WHAT VALIDATION! And honesty. From a New York cleaning service. Wow.
The best part (on top of the stellar job) is that their prices are reasonable enough for me to afford to have them come by regularly. I could never before justify the "splurge" of professional cleaning services, but with this quality and affordability I've totally changed my mind. I paid less, without a coupon, for a full regular cleaning including a hefty tip with Anna's than I did WITH the coupons through Groupon etc. for other cleaning companies.
Tips: Make your expectations clear. Say what you really want them to focus on. Be honest about the state of your place. If you're leaving your apt, leave your cell number so they can text you if they can't find certain supplies. Leave a list of what you really care about being done. Enjoy the subsequent sparkliness :)
FYI - they came out to PLG in Brooklyn for me, so their range is wider than most other companies who stick to Manhattan and maybe west of the park. -

Excellent cleaning service. The maids were very friendly, worked very hard, did a great, thorough job and the price is very reasonable. We got two maids: Beata and Renata. I highly recommend them. Anna was super nice, too. I had to postpone the first time I called and she was very understanding even though I was postponing on the day of service. I also love the fact that Anna does a lot of business via text messages. This makes things like postponing, confirming and requested additional services super easy.
I will definitely be using Anna's service again soon. -

Miracle. Worker!
Even walking into an apartment that hasn't been "soiled" by the likes of a cleaning implement for over 6 months didn't phase Anja - the extremely pleasant and diligent worker sent over by the cleaning service.
She was thorough, fast and extremely professional and has left my place cleaner than when I moved in. I can't recommend them enough... and once I'm done writing this, I'm going to set up weekly visits.
Worth every penny! -

I am so happy with the way my apartment looks right now. Eva did such a wonderful job to this apartment. My jaw dropped when I walked into my bathroom. It looks completely different. She was able to clean corners that I was not able to get myself with hours of trying. I have 4 animals in this small apartment and she was able to pick up all of the hair. The cleaning was better than I expected. I highly recommend it. I will definitely use this service again. The apartment looks immaculate.

I love Anna's! I have been using them for months and they are exceptional and the price is right. Just today I came home to a perfectly clean apartment. Plus for 20 extra bucks i had her clean the inside of my stove. (It was terrible) now? spotless! Amazing. They are the BEST!

I want to add to the chorus of deserving 5 star reviews and say that I was really thrilled with Anna's Cleaning Service and will use them again. Contacting Anna is best by text - it seemed strange, but she was very responsive. Her prices are very reasonable; note that if you need a vacuum cleaner there is an extra cost. The best part? Our cleaner Dorota. We requested a deep clean and she was meticulous and never stopped working. She found dust we never knew to look for.
Anna called during our appointment to make sure we would have enough time and to make sure I wasn't disappointed with any part of the service - we ended up splitting the job into 2 days (the apartment was that filthy) and I was very happy with her communication. She clearly cares about customers and I suspect that people who had a different experience either failed to communicate their expectations to their cleaner or simply had a bad one-off.

I scheduled a deep cleaning for my new apartment. I provided her team with the keys and checked in before and after the cleaning. They left my apartment spotless. I was thrilled with how great of a job they did.
Communication with Anna was very straight-forward. I received an estimate based on my apartment size, which her team confirmed after assessing the level of work the day of.

My girlfriend and I were about to move into this 3 bedroom apartment that was filthy to the core thanks to the previous tenants, so we naturally had to hire some cleaners to make the space livable.
I went on yelp to see the best reviewed cleaning service in NY and it was this one. I have to say that they definitely deserve their 4+ star rating. (I gave them 5)
My place was a total craphole. There was oil and grease on the kitchen windows, the shower had grime everywhere and there was just dirt all over the walls and floors.
When Anna's people finished the job I could barely notice the stuff mentioned above. The apartment is livable now! I can now shower without being cautious about touching the bathroom walls and I wasn't afraid to step on the floors with my bare feet.
Man these guys will clean anything! I'll definitely use this service again once I ruin the place.

Just had a 4 hour cleaning from Krystyna. Let me tell you, I feel like it's my birthday, I guess that's how obsessed I am with my apartment being clean. The place is IMMACULATE!
She cleaned under things that only I would clean under. I have 2 dogs so there's a fair amount of dog hair in the randomest and the toughest corners. She even lifted up my ottoman and removed the hair that was stuck on the legs. And she cleaned under the cupboard!! I've never even thought to do that.
Of course, no one is perfect. That's probably why there are some negative reviews but my personal experience, as many other's you see here, was wonderful. I'm now going to start using her every other week. Worth every penny. -

I've been sitting on this review for awhile. I'm really not sure where all the glowing reviews for Anna's Cleaning Service come from. Perhaps my situations were fluke incidents as they are not positive.
I attempted to contact Anna a couple of months ago to clean my studio apartment in SoHo. We played some text tag, until eventually I gave up.
For some reason, I decided to contact her again to clean my boyfriend's one bedroom apartment. Perhaps it was the amenities his building (doorman, elevator, etc) offered that made cleaning his apartment more attractive than mine because she responded right away.
When her ladies came to the apartment, they noticed he was missing some cleaning supplies so he had to go out and purchase them then left them on their own. Later in the evening, we returned to a relatively clean apartment, but guess what? There were still spots on the kitchen counter that we had to wipe down and dust on the bookshelves. Though they ran the dishwasher, they did not bother putting away the dishes. But the kicker was that the plastered soap dish in the shower was gone!! One of her employees actually broke it and left a hole in the bathroom wall!!
Anna told my boyfriend that she would give him a discount on the next cleaning. Given the situation, any other cleaning service I've used would have let that cleaning go for free. Just recently my boyfriend called to schedule his next cleaning and Anna told him the discount was no longer valid. She said that too many months had gone by and his apartment was going to be too dirty for her to honor that discount nor would she refund the money he spent to get a new soap dish.
Please consider this review before you call Anna's Cleaning Service. Since moving from Los Angeles, I have yet to find a consistent and high quality cleaning service, but I would much rather work with someone who honors their word and does a good job. -

I've never written a review before, but I feel compelled this time, because I want to help Anna and her ladies get more business. They deserve it!
I called Anna early last week at 7:30 in the morning and I could tell I had woken her up. She was very understanding and even chipper on the phone, though she had the "I just woke up to pick up this phone call" voice. We chatted briefly and she didn't rush me off the phone. I set up an 8am appointment for deep cleaning on Tues. the 6th.
Katarzyna (KT/Kasia?) came over this morning, as meek and cute as a mouse. She's the last image I would ever have as a "cleaning lady", actually! I wondered how this pretty little girl was going to deal with my apartment.
Well, she dealt better then I have been! She asked me which parts of the apartment I would like her to concentrate on, and I gave her very specific instructions. She guestimated how many hours it would take, and she was right on.
When they called me to come back to her, I was given 30 mninutes advance notice, and I was running super late. When I got back, she was still pleasant, and very understanding, and I was FLOORED by the job she did! This place is an old, rent stabalised apartment that is very hard to clean, as it has years and years of crusty grime and peeling paint.
I felt bad to just give her the standard 20% tip, and wish I'de taken out more to give her. Oh well, next time. I texted Anna, and told her how pleased I was, and I would love to have Kartarzyna in the future!
Anna is great at responding btw, I'm talking within minutes. -

I've used a few other cleaning services in NYC. One stood me up, another stood and wiped down my DVDs and ate a sandwich for the three hours I booked (even though I left specific instructions). I've been desperate for a place that could help me and my husband out with dusty floors and our bathroom and kitchen tiles.
Anna's totally made our day. Our woman showed up right on time and really listened to me about what my priorities were and made suggestions as to what else I may want--since I said one of my main priorities was the kitchen, she also did the oven and would have done the fridge if we had the time (we didn't--I needed a deep clean--but it's on the list for the next time we have them come over). She made my bathroom tile look cleaner than it did when I moved in here two years ago and really got under all of the nooks and crannies to make sure all dust bunnies were banished. As I also work primarily from home, it was great to have someone quietly plugging away without any awkwardness or pressure to make small talk. We choreographed my switching rooms as she went through them without any hassle on my part or hers.
Table tops and surfaces, including bookshelves, were swiftly cleaned and left looking neat and tidy like a staging photo without anything being out of place from where we normally leave it. The apartment smelled fresh and polished and we're still, two days later, floored at the world of difference Anna's made. My husband and I are both really OCD about these things; he came home and inspected the apartment thoroughly and had no complaints.
We have a pretty sizable one-bedroom apartment and, for a really intense deep clean, four hours did the job nicely. You can call the shots with how long you need someone, but feel free to use that as a point of reference. Also, we paid an extra $20 to have them bring their own supplies (minus the vacuum which we own), so the grand total came out to $120, which is a pretty low price as far as cleaning services go. They were also really quick with me on the texting trigger and have really flexible availability. -

I've tried other cleaning services in Manhattan (you can read my reviews if you are curious) and I definitely prefer Anna's!
Renata came to my apartment and left it sparkling! At 80 dollars for a four hour basic cleaning it's pretty unbeatable and totally worth every penny. I will definitely be calling upon her again! It was really beautiful and she is such a delightful woman.
I came back to the apartment after four hours and it was just so immaculate. She even had me inspect and wanted to know what could be fixed or altered. LOVED her. This is definitely a service I can see myself regularly using.
**UPDATE** Kate has also cleaned my apartment and she is a true delight. Anna's has always been super reliable with a small-town feel that is certainly refreshing in this city. I now use them on a regular basis and am so thankful for them. -

I have used Anna's cleaning service 3 times now, and overall have been very pleased. As I'm rather OCD when I have time to clean myself, I expect something at least marginally meticulous from a cleaning service.
The first girl that came was ok, but nothing to write home about -- she showed up 20 minutes late and didn't seem very motivated. It was a deep clean, and she did all of the extras I asked of her, but little nitpicky details like dusting window sills all the way into the corners were overlooked.
The next time I requested that Anna send someone else. Martyna showed up right on time and buckled right down to work. She was very meticulous in the bathroom, even cleaning the blackened grout in the shower until it positively sparkled! She didn't complain at all about lugging our heavy vacuum to clean the stairs, and even suggested some extras, like wiping out the fridge. She really is meticulous, the way I would clean it myself if I had time!
I have since requested Martyna to come every other week. This last time, I had spilled dark hair dye on the bathroom counter and had been unable to get it of. She somehow removed it without my even pointing it out to her! Anna sent a second person with Martyna this last time, as they had several apartments to clean, and they completed my 3-bedroom apartment in 2 1/2 hrs.
Martyna is just generally charming as well, which is a nice plus. She's so flexible to work around my 2 small kids, our nap schedules, and our always-under-foot puppy.
I would highly recommend Anna's Cleaning Service. It's a good value, and such a great relief to have a clean place! Making appointments by text, though odd at first, has turned out to be very convenient. -

I have the feeling some of these reviewers inhaled too many cleaning vapors upon re-entering their apartments, because my experience with this cleaning service was less than stellar (particularly 5-star stellar).
First, we booked for a four-hour cleaning (that occurred just over a week ago) and were informed, after a brief inspection by the 1 person who arrived, that the cleaning should take 2-2.5 hours tops. Hmmm...really? Okay, fine, whatever...let's see what you can do!
I proceeded to tap away on my laptop during the cleaning and, sure enough, after just over 2 hours later: "I'm done if you'd like to take a look?"
What I found: Mold in the shower. That the black marble kitchen floor was cleaned/streaked with Murphy's oil soap. That the fridge, stove top, and dishwasher exteriors were covered in streaky film. That the bathroom counter was splashed with water/cleaner and hairs were in the sink. That wet dustballs were in the corners of two rooms. That the microwave exterior (not to mention interior) was dirty. Etc., etc., etc...
When I pointed out some of these shortcomings, our cleaner was willing to correct most (I didn't find all instantly), but I should NOT have had to point out such glaring problems. Sheesh. As a 'for instance,' when I pointed out the film-covered kitchen floor, I was responded to with: "Oh, I just used the cleaner you had." Which I interpreted as: "I didn't make use of the 15+ cleaners you had (to include a marble cleaner) because I didn't want to change the mop water." Not to mention the fact that our cleaner used the same rag for most of the interior surfaces regardless of surface type or cleaning solution applied (which led to several dirt/cleaner streaked appliances, among others). Lame. SERIOUSLY LAME.
Let's just say I did some clean up of my own post this cleaning and that the $80 we were charged for this service (for our ~650sf apartment) was largely wasted.
BOTTOM-LINE: This service is obviously hit-or-miss and our cleaning was, sadly, a miss. Try this cleaning service at your own risk. -

Heck Yes!
I have to first admit that I am a super psycho, anal person when it comes to cleaning (I am that person that cleans with a toothbrush, literally) and will blame my methods and overwhelming cleanliness requirements if one day my boyfriend decides to pack up and take the dog with him.
I first contacted Anna after reading reviews on Yelp; I needed someone to clean our new apt. so it would be move-in ready for the following day.
The ease of booking the appointment was a huge plus from the get-go, I LOVE the fact that all I have to do is text Anna in order to book an appointment and/or address any issues. Anna sent Iza and Asia for the first round of work. As mentioned in other reviews, everyone in Anna's team is extremely attentive and sweet; although Asia doesn't speak much English she still tried very hard to understand what I was saying and we managed to hand-sign each other into an understanding until Iza arrived. They cleaned the apartment in approximately 3 hours and charged a very fair price of $120 for a deep cleaning. Anna was even accommodating enough to text me half an hour before the girls were done so my boyfriend could head up during his lunch hour to pay.
Everything looked perfect when I arrived at the apt. later that evening. The stove, bathroom and floors where spotless; but once i started to become crazy white-glove lady I realized that the oven and windows were not taken care off.
Issues aside, I decided to book a second appointment for a regular cleaning and just tell Anna my concerns regarding the previous appointment. Anna responded immediately and comped me with a free oven/window cleaning for part deux!
Asia arrived this morning right on time and immediately got to work. Not only that, my shih-tzu who is at first shy with strangers, brought Asia her swiffer in attempt to be part of the action. Once again, we were called half an hour before Asia was done so we could head up and pay.
The apartment is gloooowwwinggg, guys.. GLOW-ING!
To boot, when we walked in we found Asia on the floor playing with the dog while she waited for us to get there. Seriously, If the dog liked her even post-vacuuming then these girls take the cake. Anyone that takes care of my apt and the furball to that level gets a slow hand clap from me.

One word to describe Anna: Thorough! I recently had Anna clean a friends house after I finally conviced him to hire someone to clean.
His house was filthy, I don't think the floors had been mopped in years. I found Anna through yelp and was impressed by all the reveiws. I requested a deep cleaning, the changes were remarkable. The floors actually shine! She cleaned every nook in the house. Took shoes out of the closet cleaned it and then organized all the shoes, I mean every little detail.
Very good prices for the amzing work. -

I tried out Anna's for the first time this past weekend after reading all these great reviews, and you guys were right, as expected. Near Perfection.
As a busy single guy in a manhattan studio who doesn't take great care of the place, I knew my digs would raise the maid's eyebrows once they checked it out; furthermore, we had a communication mix-up on what time they were scheduled to drop by (my fault), so I hadn't picked up all of the necessary cleaning supplies yet.
No worries! The cleaning lady understandingly started on what she could while I raced to the nearest store to buy the remaining supplies. I then rushed through pre-arranging whatever I needed to in my place to make everything cleanable/reachable for her and then left for a nearby coffeeshop so she could do her thing.
A couple hours later, it was as if I walked into a brand new studio- I've never seen the place so clean. I gave her a mega giant tip and will definitely be spreading the word, as well growing into a periodic customer.
Thank you so much Anna, now I see why your cleaning services get such high reviews! -

Wow. Joanna outdid herself. We set up a deep cleaning for our kitchen/bathroom through Anna (who's awesome by the way). Our kitchen looks better than the day we moved in. Everything from the refrigerator to the hard-to-reach cabinets were cleaned inside and out and organized immaculately. Our toaster oven, which was full of crumbs and burned food, looks like we just bought it yesterday, and the grime on and around the stove from 2.5 years of cooking is completely gone. The bathroom is the same story - even the caulk between the tiles is white. She went above and beyond anything we could have expected, and the price was more than reasonable.
Both Joanna and Anna were extremely nice, and we're definitely going to be a repeat customer. -

I am a bit late in writing this review--but have to definitely sing the praises of this service! They someone over to help me clean prior to a party. The cleaner (Kasia?) was prompt, professional, and excellent. In fact, I am about to call them now to book again!
My apartment was pretty bad, especially the floors. I am bad a floors. This place has never been cleaner! -

I signed up for Yelp just so I could write this review. I have worked with Anna for a year and she is a total joy. She trains and mentors the women who work for her, and she is EXTREMELY responsive to feedback; anytime there was something I wanted done a different way, I would text her, she would text back immediately, and the the problem would be fixed the next time. She is a passionate expert about housing cleanliness and upkeep. After we renovated our bathroom, she came by, ran her finger along the grout line, and told me that I needed to seal the grout so it wouldn't stain (her husband is a contractor). I think she prefers to work in Williamsburg and Bushwick, because it seems like most of her team live on the L line. Having worked with many cleaning women, I believe that Anna is the best I'll ever meet.

Anna and her colleague Katya just left my apartment, and the place has never looked better.
I found her via yelp and noticed that she had a 5 star rating from everyone (who has that, ever?) and figured I couldn't go wrong.
They arrived early, organized things that I didn't expect them to organize (even my bookshelves look better) and really made the whole place look amazing.
Plus, I really like that it's her own, woman-owned business and that I'm paying her directly for her services.
I will definitely hire her again! -

Agree with the negative reviews. One of Anna's girl's came to my apartment and cleaned. She was nice and the work was good but she broke something. I told Anna and she offered to pay for it, I said it was ok and not to worry about it - accidents happen and the item was $20.
The next time the girl came I asked her to replace doing the sheets in the laundry and asked to clean the inside of floor to ceilng windows. She did. When she left I thought the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. I wrote to Anna mentioning this and I got a text message back berating me for not paying additional for laundry and the windows (the girl never said anything) and then questioning her work.
I guess it is hit or miss with this business but it's like walking on pins and needles with this service. Not professional at all. -

I found Anna on yelp and I was very happy with the results!! :) The place is spotless and not only did she organize everything, but she even went so far as to put foil liners on the stove and make me a shopping list of cleaning supplies that would be helpful (but luckily she did bring her own!). It's such a relief to finally have a clean place...even though it was a little pricey for a studio, it was well worth it.
Also--i went to the gym while they were cleaning and part of me wondered if I was making a mistake since I didn't know her...but I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I saw everything was still there. Thanks Anna! -

Another good experience with Anna's Cleaning service. Sad to hear that some things have not worked out for a very few others, but overall I'm very happy with Anna;s service. Martyna was the claeaning person this time around and she did a great job!

To be honest, I'm not sure how the cleaning services is, as the maid never show up! We fixed a date for Saturday 10am as we expected friends in the evening. At 10.30am I was wondering why the Maid didn't show up. As I finally reached out to Anna (45min later), she came with a stupid excuse that the maids kid was ill. What's about informing customers earlier or send a different maid over?! I heard also from friends that a maid was cleaning illegally without notice Anna or my friend for weeks. Everything came up when my friend requested the discount. It seams to me that Anna does not have her staff under control.
One thing that is important about cleaning service is reliability, you wont definitively get this at Annas cleaning service... -

Anna's service is just fine as long as you don't decide to leave her for another cleaning lady. If you do that, be prepared to be harassed with a series of text messages and have your Yelp reviews for your new cleaning lady flagged and removed. She is unprofessional and vindictive and I would stay miles away for her!!

I called Anna based on the awesome reviews her company had received here on Yelp. I was too overwhelmed and knew that I required a Deep Cleaning. I too, was embarrassed since I felt like I should have been able to take care of it myself.
Anna sent over Eva and Iza. Both ladies were extremely professional and paid significant attention to detail. I knew that they too were overwhelmed but took on the challenge that I call my apt. Within 5 minutes of arriving, Iza took complete charge and devised a plan of attack.
I completely agree with a previous reviewer regarding how sweet and professional the ladies were. Iza is really friendly and truly enjoys her job especially the helping others become more organized aspect. There was definitely no judgment which I totally appreciated. They both had awesome organizing tips to offer as well.
I will definitely be calling again for routine maintenance. You should stop stressing out and just call Anna and schedule someone to come out and help. As New Yorkers, we tend to be extremely busy, and can easily become overwhelmed. Definitely call Anna to ensure your home is always kept immaculate. -

Great cleaning service at an affordable price. Hard working and friendly staff. My large apartment is filled with collections of antiques and books and many dust bunnies. It was sparkling clean after a few hours. I highly recommend Anna's. Easy communication, easy scheduling and self tailored cleaning.

Anna's visit is my favorite part of the week! I come home to an immaculate apartment with my cat fed and happy. I must confess that i can be a complete slob sometimes, and Anna is the perfect match for my mess.
She is so cheerful and pleasant and wonderful to have around, and when she comes to clean when I'm away or at work, I miss seeing her and catching up.
I have recommended her to friends and family members and they all rave about how wonderful her service is!
I am not the wealthiest gal around, but i would give up any number of other things I enjoy to keep Anna in my life! She's not a luxury, she's a necessity! -

My wife and I needed to get our one bedroom apartment clean before going away on a trip. We've realized that coming home to a clean apartment makes the end of a vacation a bit easier to cope with. With the amount of last minute things we needed to take care of, a full-on cleaning was not in the cards. I was hesitant to reach out to a service because the last time we did, (via craigslist) we had a horrible experience. Based on the great reviews, we decided to throw caution to the wind and contact Anna's Cleaning Service. Anna asked all the right questions and put us at ease. She quoted me a rate of $80 for our place (approx 750 sq. ft.) and told me it would probably take about four hours. She arranged for a woman named Joanna to come to the apartment at 9:00 AM.
Joanna arrived early, about 8:50, and she impressed us by removing her shoes the second she walked in the door. We took her around the apartment and showed her exactly what we wanted done. She listened very attentively and asked a few questions about preference on different types of cleaners on different surfaces. Then she asked me if we had easy-off oven cleaner... I told her I didn't because I would prefer to undergo amateur dental surgery than clean my oven. She told me that 1) It was included in the cleaning and 2) Not to worry because she brought some with her!!! My wife and I felt very comfortable with the situation and left Joanna alone while we went on our pre-vacation errands. When we came back about four hours later, Joanna had finished the bedroom, bathroom and was almost done in the kitchen-- everything was ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS. My wife pointed out to me that she had moved our nightstands and cleaned under and behind them! Joanna said she'd need about 1.5 more hours. We were happy to leave her to it, understanding that it might cost a little more than originally quoted. We sat at a local café and read our guidebooks while we awaited Joanna's call. About an hour and a half later she called and told me she was ready for us to come back and inspect her work.
We were so happy when we walked in the door that we could hardly contain ourselves. The final cost was $100 plus an additional $20 tip. Everything looked great, and Joanna was both humble and incredibly professional. If the rest of Anna's staff is as good as Joanna, I would not hesitate to recommend this service to absolutely anyone. We are pretty certain that this will become a monthly or tri-weekly event for us-- one we will look forward to with keen anticipation. -

I called Anna based on the great Yelp reviews I read. I needed a DEEP cleaning and had been too embarrassed to have someone clean because I felt like I should have been able to clean it myself. I also didn't know how deep a DEEP CLEANING would be.
Jahoda arrived first and went straight for the oven. Iza went straight for the disaster that used to be our desk. I was shocked at how detailed she was being. Later, when I looked in the kitchen, I realized that Jahoda was deep cleaning and organizing the space under my kitchen. I couldn't believe it.
They were both very sweet. Iza is outgoing and I could tell how much she enjoys helping people. There was NO judgement. When I realized how detailed they were being and that they were actually organizing things, I knew that we were going to need more time. I was happy to have them.
Jahoda had another job and had to leave after staying an hour past her original 3 hours. Iza stayed 3 hours past her original 3 hours and was friendly the whole time. She didn't throw anything away without asking, yet the place became much more organized.
I will definitely be calling again in 3 weeks for maintenance. Do yourself the favor. If you're too busy, overwhelmed, ashamed, or just hate cleaning, call Anna's Cleaning Service... and tip them for their hard work. -

Last week I moved into my new apt - I was taking over a bedroom in a 3 bedroom where 2 of the girls had left. In spite of the 3rd girl's best efforts, the apartment was kind of a mess. So I contacted Anna for a deep clean. The reviews are accurate - the 2 girls that came to clean our place did an amazing job! They cleaned the inside of our garbage cans, they cleaned the inside of my coffee grinder, they made the disgusting microwave look usable again! And it was reasonably priced on top of it! I definitely plan to give them a ring every few months just to get that lovely, deep-cleaned sensation again!
