My cat recently got sick, so my husband and I rushed him to the first animal clinic that could accept us on such a short notice. I called about ten clinics, and only Animal Medical Centre had a cancellation which gave them a window to admit us. Even though we were 15 minutes late due to traffic, the receptionist was nice about it and told us not to worry. We didn't have to wait long before veterinarian's assistant invited us into a room. Two minutes later Dr. Hanna Bishay came in, and started asking detailed questions and palpating our cat. Then our furry creature was taken away for blood and urine tests which took about 40 minutes while waited in the car. Of course, all tests were expensive but who can put a price on the health of their pet?
Overall, we spent approximately 2 hours at the clinic. Although Dr. Bishay wasn't completely sure about what was wrong with our cat (since none of the tests showed any abnormalities), he made recommendations regarding our pet's diet and prescribed a medicine. He wasn't pushing the sale; he simply made a recommendation which we chose to follow.
Our story ends happily: the cat got 90% better thanks to the medicine. His symptoms are not completely gone but they are under control.

I wish I could give the Animal Medical Centre a better review but my experience was not overly positive. Several years ago, my now deceased dog Mitcy (she lived to the ripe old age of 12!) ripped her nail out because it got stuck in a heat vent. We have no idea how this happened otherwise we would have done something to prevent it. Mitcy was gushing blood everywhere and when we wrapped her paw we rushed to the Animal Medical Centre. The service was mediocre and the veterinarian was very non-supportive, cold, and had horrible bed side manner. They tried to sell me into countless procedures that were not necessary and the prices are out of proportion with other veterinarians and hospitals I have used.
