I grew up on Andy's subs. You could always count on a cheap, but really tasty sub. Years have passed and I have moved away from the neighborhood, but I still try to stop in whenever I am nearby.
Andy's has lost some of it's luster for me though. The prices are higher. Still not nearly as high as Subway or Mr. Sub. And it could be just my imagination, but the subs seem smaller.
To be clear, this place is the ultimate dive! It's a run down shop in a run down area. But you know what, they are very clean in spite of looking like the place should be condemned.
So if you want a good, cheap meal, look no further, and try to look past the "grittyness".
