I've just returned from one of the most amazing spa experiences ever!
After checking into the spa, we were led into the changing rooms, where our names were already placed on our locker and a fluffy robe and acupressure slippers were waiting (my helper noticed my slippers were a bit too big and immediately returned with a better size). My hubbie and I were then invited to enjoy their co-ed "Rainforest Steam Room" before being led outside to have a warm foot soak infused with salts from the Dead Sea while listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks in front of us. They even provided sunglasses, as they saw we were squinting into the sun!
There they introduced us to the various aromatherapies to choose from - all used botanical ingredients blended into combinations to relax, invigorate, etc.
We had the couples massage in the rustic Cedar Sanctuary, which was a cabin built for two, opening on one end to the sea. Our massage therapists were amazing. One of the best massages I've ever had is from a therapist trained at California's Esalen, and this was on par. She was careful to keep me warm and comfortable while my muscles were gently rendered to limp noodles.
I'm glad we're staying here as I can't wait to go back and try another treatment!
