This is a fantastic restaurant. It's tucked away in Ancaster, about a ten minute drive from Hamilton. The restaurant itself is built over a small waterfall and the food locally-sourced.
Our dinner began with complimentary amuse-bouches. Wait staff were all very friendly and courteous. We ordered the butternut squash and lentil salad, which was quite large but perfect for two to share. Our mains were the black cod and the duck confit. Both absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The portions were just right. We shared the Lindt milk chocolate profiteroles, which we were told are the most popular dessert and understandably so. We also received complimentary drinks and dark chocolate mint truffles at the end of our meal.
Before we ended our dinner, we were already planning for our next visit. There was a wedding going on during our visit, but it didn't affect our meal at all. A lovely and memorable dinner.
