Nothing really spectacular about this movie theater except for its location - there are TONS of restaurant options, all within walking distance of the theater.  Shopping, too.

Tuesdays, ticket prices are down to $8... cool, but the movies are all super-packed, so you need to make sure to get there early, especially if you want to sit next to your friends.

Parking can be ridiculous on weekends and Tuesdays (see above paragraph).

My recommendation: patronize one of the nearby restaurants for their excellent "dinner-and-a-movie" deals (O'Connor's, Boston Pizza, Jack Astor's and more?).  Usually around $20 gets you anything off the menu plus a movie ticket.  Can't beat that!

Nice and clean; lots of theatres. I like the idea of free refills in popcorn and drinks on Wednesdays, even though I never get them!

Periodically they offer those magazines; I definitely like those.

The eerie thing about this theatre is the piped in music outside the theatre as you are walking in...

I'll be honest, for whatever reason I'm not an AMC fan.  I don't know what experience led me to this conclusion, if it was some bad day that a customer rep spurned me, or some pricing malfunction, or a bizarre popcorn mishap, but for whatever reason, I'm not a fan of this movie distribution franchise.  So, necessity being the mother of "Invention" and its younger, more neglected sibling "Desperation", I've taken to going see movies there when I'm in Kanata.

It appears my war with the AMC is over.  It's a decent place to see a movie.  The prices are not out of line, the popcorn is, well, it's popcorn.  You can only screw it up if you burn it.  They didn't.  One snack bar feature that I've not seen elsewhere is that they allow you to add your own butter, which is fantastic for me since I don't want any, and also fantastic for the guy behind me who brought in surrogate cups for extra dipping during the feature.

It's clean.  It can cater to kids.  The seats, sound, and screen are okay.  I guess what I'm saying is that a theatre associated with a network that gives us "Mad Men" can't be all bad.

i prefer AMC over famous players, hands down.

they know how to run this place depending on the traffic of people there are usually 4, to 5 people at the ticket booths so you aren't waiting a long time to get your ticket. as well you can use those almost ATM machines to do it that way as well.

comfy, and CLEAN seats. large (equipped for like 20 ladies at once), & spotless bathrooms. which are two of the most important things to me for a movie theatre haha.

sure the food is way over priced, but what movie venue isn't? go for their soft pretzels those are to die for. they even give you a tray if you are the one to get all the food so you can carry everything and carefully leaving under your seat once the film is over.

you can do what some of my friends do (i'm too nervous about it) is to buy some snacks at the wal-mart located in the centrum and sneak it in your purse... but to me, a movie isn't a movie without popcorn :)
