Great Vet! And really great Vet assistants. We have a British Bulldog (obviously we've run into some health problems) and Alta Vista has been an absolute delight to deal with. They are decently priced and very knowledgeable. Plus it's always a joy to go and see the Kittens they adopt out. Kelsey is particularly helpful and we THANK YOU for that!

It is quite possible the veterinian is knowledgeable and effective.
However: the impression the vet. assistance staff gave on the phone was horrific. I would NOT EVER recommend, for any reason, bringing a pet there, and certainly not board a pet there! I was told my standards could not be met so they would not be able to board my pet there. The reason? They only clean pet cages every 2 to 3 days! Can you imagine the unsanitary conditions and discomfort to the poor animal? My standards are NORMAL not "too high". They presented as not too bright, very judgemental, and as having poor comprehension skills. Frankly, by the end of the first conversation, I had decided I would not leave my pet there even if it were free. I tried a second person and that was even worse - so how can you expect any better from anyone else there? Like minds tend to group together. The rudeness, ignorance, lower than low standards with which they maintain the boarding pets, and just plain stupidity left me alarmed, shocked, disgusted, angry and so apalled, I have come to the conclusion it's not worth the distress of finding help for a pet and having to deal with creatures such as these, and therefore, I would never again take another pet to care for, as much as I love animals. Advice to the wise: stay as far away from this hell place as you can.
